Jim Street really lays the sugar on thick, don't he?

My least favorite part of the article - and that's saying a lot - was this little snippet from Waka:

And what happens if he isn't in the rotation?

If Waka even considers Jarrod for the closer role, then I'm officially taking him off of the "Guys I Wouldn't Mind Having Dinner With in a Completely Heterosexual Setting" list that I have in my back pocket.

Times Forumites Dislike Us

Apparently, David, Derek, Jeff, Graham, etc. are egotistical assholes.

I venture over to the Times forum every once in a while. I think you get a better idea of the casual fans point of view than you do here or at USSM. And it's a good place to go when you want to get your rosterbation on.

Anyway, they don't seem to think much of USSM/LL leadership.

Really, Pedro? Really?

I'm sure a lot of you have seen this already, but I figured I'd put it up. As is always the case with these things, there is a lot that's up for debate. One thing did jump out at me, though, as is probably the case with a lot of people.

Apparently, Pedro Gomez believes this guy belongs in the Hall of Fame. Now, I'm a big proponent of "to each is own", but voting for Jay Bell on a Hall of Fame ballot seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Cubs Sign Bradley

Rumor

According to ESPN Radio's Bruce Levine, the Cubs signed Milton Bradley to a three-year, $30MM contract "with some options in the deal." Ken Rosenthal has a similar story, noting that the two sides have to "work through language issues."

That means he's playing the field. Should be interesting to see if he gets injured again. To be honest, three years seems like a little much, given his injury-prone history.

So, does this leave Dunn and Dunn alone as the last possible "big" signing the M's can make?
