OT: BUBUB Kobe

Kobe is the worst player in NBA history. FACT.

The Celtics are stout. The home fans wont let them lose, and they can go into any NBA city and win by THIRTY if necessary. The joke here was that LA was ever favored..media caught up in blind Kobe hype just like Obama hype..

How about revisiting the old Paul Pierce to Nowitzki comparisons? Pierce is old now, but he's still black and therefore can play defense.

Have to, like Bill Simmons, credit Doc Rivers too. I never thought this guy could get it done. But even if all he did was not screw it up. He still "didn't screw it up".

And Danny Ainge, for pulling off the great moves, Vindicated.

Well, not too much to say about this. Nobody is giving the Celts a chance but frankly I think the Celtics are the better team and will prevail. Kobe is overrated, a rapist, and a selfish choker. And that will prove through again, even overwhelming the fact Phil Jackson coaches circles around Doc Rivers. Also, the Celtics have three studs, so if Ray Allen is cold, Paul Pierce can score, or vice versa (but look out if they're both hot), while Garnett is a steady inside force and alone a more dominant player than Kobe. Whereas the Lakers only have one.

And oh that Miguel Tejada, he's so good right. Oh yeah, he's really good.

Yup.

Sorry about that "winning streak" thing and stuff.

It's a shame really.
Of the choices still in the race for president, who is your pick?

BTW I know politics topics are banned but I hope an exception can be made for this poll.

I'm not going to include Ron Paul because he has less chance to win than Giuliani who just dropped out.
No thread?

So far LSU has spotted OSU ten points. This is fine with me I guess, since the wisdom is LSU will blow OSU out, that should just make it a more competitive game.

Nice rushing from LSU currently on this drive.

I'm not really rooting for either. Maybe a tad towards LSU.

So, I'm sure many of you live in DFW area anyway but it's not a problem, but for those that dont and are Cowboy fans, what are your plans to watch the game?

I'm either weighing between going to a bar or something (too bad I dont have a familiar one) or trying some shady methods to watch it on my comp (I'll probably detail this later).

I am afraid that a bar is just gonna be like, standing room only around here.

Anyways I've done some preliminary googling and there are apparantly a couple programs that do peer to peer streaming that you can get NFL Network on..but I haven't tested them out yet. I have a hunch you're going to get shitty, stop and start video though. Basically here is the most informative thread I have found about it:

http://www.seahawkshuddle.com/v1/viewtopic.php?p=68193

Apologize as I know we dont want to have too many football OT's, BUT

On ESPN Golic was talking about how he think the Steelers beat the Cowboys head up. I thought about it, I really dont see it at all. I dont fear the Steelers one small bit. Again, some ESPN people have intimated that the Packers will beat Dallas also, again, I just dont see it in the least. At all. I have no doubt we will beat the Packers.

That's the thing about these Cowboys, I really dont see them losing at all. 15-1 seems unlikely, but why, really?

Maybe it's watching them each week, unlike the national press (or maybe it's because I missed the Buffalo game, heh). There was never a time it felt like they could lose to Philly or the Giants, on the road, the second being one of the hottest teams in the league.

Furthermore, here's the capper, I think they will beat New England if we play again. I see our defense hardening up, hitting harder, and that's all we need. We're so good because the offense is almost unstoppable, that whatever the game situation, we are likely to score 7 on a given drive at will if needed.

I really have this funny feeling, that this is a special year, and that a Super Bowl win against the Patriots is in the offing...

Commence with the "They're not THAT good, sharky's"...
