"Bob Cousy was a great teammate. But in our approaches to the game, he and I were complete opposites. I approached the game defense first, then offense. He approached the game offense and then, maybe, some defense. I never had a negative thought about it - he was always a great team player and a really good guy…After I watched him play a dozen games or so, and had a few brief conversation with him to learn more about his approach, I figured out how to help us win more games. If we were on defense and his man got by him, I'd slide over and pick him up to keep him from getting a layup. On offense, after I'd get a rebound, I'd start deliberately looking for Cousy to get him outlet passes to start the fast breaks. Probably a third of the shots I blocked for Cousy were off his men. But I never criticized him, behind his back or to his face."

"The way I looked at it was that his flaws on defense triggered our offense. I'd block a shot and outlet it and get it going the other way, turning it into a strength."

Alright. For those that missed out on a rather exciting summer league, with Anthony Randolph tying the recording for 42 points, only to have our own Anthony Morrow beating it today, I highly suggest you watch it. I mean the games. Or any of the 55 games.

Since I am unable to provide the password, I'll give you hints so you'll solve the mystery yourself, therefore not really breaking the rules. The only thing that I ask is, since they claim there is only one viewer at a time, (I was unable to log-in earlier. Dang them) you can somehow share. Unsure how. But sharing = caring. Sometimes.

Questions about Summer League.

Would anyone happen to know if one can re-watch a game? Like multiplies of times (Joe Alexander...Oh he's not a Warriors. I mean the Anthonies! Yes, if AR 3x a day workout had done anything for him.)

And if one did not watch a game, could she go back to watch the game?

There are a few things that I found interesting. I accidentally stumble on this blog entry, and found it quite amusing that even with with a very good standing (33-8), fans just don't quit complaining. (and I thought us Warriors fan got it bad)

Just to be fair, I'll type about all of them.

Why did the Warriors lose yesterday?Why couldn't they just fought a tiny bit more?

Oh why does the weather look so nice? But why am I indoor?

Why is Jamal a volume shooter? And why didn't he share the ball? (In the 2 and 3rd OT more?) Why oh why?

Why does the OT always bring out what is wrong with the team?

And why does Kelenna always get called for an offense foul? Why is he so easy to read? But why can't I ever read him well?

Oh why Brandan are you hurt? Why?

Why is romesdavidwood37 so awesome?

Why oh why....Andris can't you make them FT? Alright, I'll be soft on you since it just hasn't been there for you lately. But why did you have to foul out? WHY?

Why were the fans so lucky to witness a walking on eggshell type of game? Why am I so cheap? Why didn't I fork over the $8, plus another convenience charge....order processing charge. And ticketfast charge. And only $15 for parking.

And why are there two Anthonys? (I wonder if you guys ever get confuse.) Why were you so good in the 2nd OT? But yet, why did it appear that you lack on D? (yet, most of the guys...why oh why am I picking on you? Why oh why?)

Why does Ronny make Andris look like an All-Star? Humans have argue that Ronny role is described as more of a "backup" C than a PF. Can one argue that he was indeed having a bad night? Why Ronny? Did the autograph signing get to you? Why am I so hard on you? And why is it that I like you so much? Why oh why?

Wait, why is it that I like the Warriors so much?

Why did Jim or Bob lied and say that everyone was gonna play? Why wasn't Marcus part of the action? Why not...there's a PG right there!

And why does it feel like an eternity to see how Monta plays? Why oh why?

Complaints about Ronny Turiaf.

Alright, alright, so maybe I woke up on the wrong side of bed and have nothing better to do...but why hasn't anyone complain about Ronny Turiaf?

Besides Marco, and Anthony M, Ronny has the most turnovers in traveling. That's right... traveling.

Sure. he appears to be a great guy...funny, entertaining to watch. BUT definitely not to watch when he always goes up on a block ...when it's a pump fake.

At any situation, all situations, he just goes up...and attempt to block, (because that's what he does..right?) and fouls that human..and allows a three point play. (sometimes)

Should I be thankful when he fouls less than 3 in a game? And not all in one quarter?

And for a guy that earns $4.5 million a year, (sixth highest pay in the Golden State) am I asking too much if he learns how to score? Like Yao in the paint? Oh wait, he's a center...Like Tim Duncan? KG?

A master at baby hook...Ronny and his baby hook. Or Ronny pump faking so he can get to the line!

Yes, Ronny do the things that they do to you! Vengeance can be sweet. Get to the line if you can't score!

(And don't argue about rebounds. For a 6'10"..you better be getting a lot of boards.)

Didn't they teach him anything in L.A.?

(On a side note...Ronny will have an autograph sess next Tuesday, Jan. 13. San Leandro is far too far for me, but please if you do go, please tell him how awesome I think he is. [not sarcastic here])

I just want to get this off my chest. (Since I’m sort of fuming from the game still)

Dear Warriors Boys,

Recently, I became a huge fan of the Golden State Warriors. (Yes, you boys.) Since my first time watching you guys in mid November (against the Chicago Bulls), you have only won twice.

People argue it's because of your lack of defense. Other said it's because you humans don't share the ball. Many say it's because of inexperience. And the haters...they blame it on Nellie.

Me? I blame it on luck.

I honestly thought you had an equal chance of winning the last five games. (even if the opponents are almost all playoff contenders) How could 2 of you bigs be out with the flu when Yao was trying to recover from a cold? (flu?)

And Ron wasn’t even playing.

Forget about the games with the Nuggets and Magic (I can’t seem to remember them right now), but the games with the Pacers and Hawks…the Warriors (yes you! pointing accusing finger), any humans can see you boys were doing so extremely well (unless they are blind – must get your eyes check then!) but why did you give up the fourth quarter?

What did you humans do during break that effect the game? Was it something that you ate? A snack? A drink? Or was there hot girls that made you boys forget where you were? Who you guys are?

What?! What was it?!!

Tell me that secret.

And the secret to preventing fouls. I noticed that the you, the Warriors boys, almost always go over the limit and that in the fourth quarter, you are hurt by this. And this occurs on games that are so, so close. The Rocket on December 5. - How many FT did Yao have in the fourth quarter? How many free throws did Danny get in the last minutes (with only 2 minutes left?) of the Pacers game?

And these men have high % in free throws. (You even allowed Danny to break the record.17/17)

And with your luck, tonight wasn’t any different; free throws are definitely free.

I always believe that you, the Warriors boys, are giving, but be stingy with them free throws!!

And luck…the veterans are always out with some injuries. And this speaks boldly when you humans are a team of young players…the youngest team in the NBA.

And just another of your luck… baskets are not going in!

But you know what? I honestly believe that through times of trial and (a lot) of errors, through practices and more practices, chemistry… through losing and losing again, that you, the Warriors boys will find your place; your own stance where you boys will unite. And unite as a team of champion.

I believe that.

Until then, I believe you will continue to grow and only grow stronger.

Remember, when you’re at rock bottom, the only way out, is upwards. (Do be thankful that that at least you’re not at the top...because falling will be very painful)

It’s sort of funny to say, but it’s like watching my own children grow.

Make me a proud parent.
