Born and raised Phoenician to Canadian parents, so hockey's been in the blood since birth. Moved to Toronto in 2010 to pursue a sports journalism career focusing on hockey. Worked for the Coyotes, Hamilton Bulldogs, Phoenix Roadrunners, and various other ice rinks across the Valley. I was a Wings fan before Yotes came to town, so I am Hank/Charlie whenever the two do battle.
