Adam Snyder has been looking serviceable lately, but I wouldn't say good.  With the injuries to our O-line we needed some depth instead of screen door Sims.  But is Pashos going to take the starting spot and relegate Snyder to backup?

So I was reading Michael Silvers new article for the day "Niners' Hill proves his head's in the right place" and I noticed some oddly phrased statements.  Then I noticed two more.. And it just got worse.  I'm starting to wonder if that title is even a pun on this weird article by Michael Silver.. .

First, When I was reading my immature brain fired on this quote by Sing, "But what's beautiful about him is his heart. I want to go down with a guy like that."  Immediately I thought, wow, Sing could work on phrasing things a lot differently, but I still chuckled.  Then I went on to read a little joke about Shaun Hill getting ready while Singletary "dropped his trou".

When I continued reading the article it ended on a strong note.  A quote from Vernon Davis about Shaun Hill

"'It's fine to me,' Davis says.'Every time he throws a pass, it always comes right to me.  I like his balls.'

So does Singletary - in more ways than one"

At first I thought I was just being immature, but seriously does this not make anyone else wonder?  I actually thought I had read a joke article initially at the end, but upon second view I had not.

I'm sure we have all watched or are planning to soon watch the 49ers Raiders game.  If you have watched already, you know that Alex Smith and Shaun hill did about as poorly as one could imagine.  If you read barrows article, he claims if dropped passes did not happen Smith could go up to a 69 passer rating.  But you cant always blame the receiver for those, not to mention the upside of the If scenario is only a 69 passer rating.

As the league has shifted to multi back systems in recent years, running backs have been getting nicknames in groups more and more often.  Smash and Dash is always a popular one.  And while Glen Coffee is subject to an insurmountable number of article title puns I think its time we name the niners running back combo.
