A few questions
Really I am not a person to go crazy after a few losses, and I am not one to really criticize the manner in which a coach chooses to run his team. I also do not find it flattering when someone gets on BE after tough losses and calls for the coaches head. However, after what has been a pretty inconsistent start to the season and a wretched game against Atlanta last night, I have a few questions that I would like to ask the Coaching staff so I wrote them down here (With a little bit of ranting underneath.) Feel free to put your questions in the comment section if you feel inclined to do so.

About Ricky Rubio
I have not made a comment or a Fanpost in sometime, but I had just got done reading about how getting Ricky Rubio would be a good player to get for the Blazers. I am just writing this with 1 simple thought in mind of why he would not. So many comments have been made about him now, and rightly so, but so many of them are how Ricky Rubio is someone who "Get's everyone involved" and a "Team Player" but I'm almost certainly sure that he is not.So I'm coming out of the woodworks to give you my thoughts on the matter.
He has made comments through his agent about not wanting to play in a small market. Now I'm not going to rag on the guy for wanting to improve on the situation where he plays, but if you wanted to just play ball on a good team with other talented players, would you Really be concerned with where you go? Your in the NBA bro, the best of the best!
Shawn Marion doesn't care where he plays just as long as he's the man and gets paid. Joe Johnson doesn't care where he plays just as long as he has good teamates. Ricky Rubio doesnt care where he goes to just as long as there's lots of people and He gets noticed. To me, that is an issue, and it most likley speaks to his immaturity more than anything else.
I know it's a very simple but it was something that was on my mind. Thoughts?
Go Blazers!

Did Pau Refuse to play after the foul?
I was wondering if anyone noticed that Gasol was not in after the Rudy foul. It almost seemed to me that he didnt want to go in after that play. I don't think Phil shut him down for the night because Kobe was still in there Jacking up triples to try to come back (Unless he was just letting him pad his stats.) But I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this? Is there a website that shows quarter boxscores?

Blazers' injury-prone Oden to miss two more games
This is the headline on NBA dot com in the latest news section on the home page. I am really, really, really *Expletive* irritated with how everyone thinks Oden is "Injury prone" Even the league thinks he's injury prone...... The thing I think that bothers me the most about this is I have people who are L@k*r fans who say he's injury prone, but fail to remember that Andrew Bynum missed the playoffs and the last half of last season. Most likley this one too, but Oden is more "Injury Prone" I am outraged the league would put this on their site..... GRRRR

My Try at a Realistic Trade.
So this is my first and last trade post. This involves Portland and Phoenix.
Portland sends
RLEC ($12,722,500)
LMA ($4,631,400)
Phoenix sends:
Amar'e Stoudamire ($15,070,550) 3yrs
Now, before you jump to conclusions, I have to say that I absolutely adore LaMarcus. In fact, I would hate this trade for quite some time because I love his character. But, in order to get someone on a elite level you have to give something of worth up in return. I am looking at this as something that can realistically happen. We get rid of someone we love with great upside for someone that we all know can
#1. Get you a bucket anytime they will it
#2. Give you an inside rebounder, shot blocker, and defender
#3. Bring a level of toughness on the inside that we have been lacking.
#4. Bring playoff level experience.
Here are the stats as follows:
LMA: PTS: 16.8 REB: 6.7 AST: 1.5 SPG: 0.9 PER: 18.23 BPG: 1.2
Amar'e: PTS: 22.3 REB: 8.6 AST: 1.9 SPG: 1.2 PER: 22.49 BPG: 1.1
I know Amar'e has expressed his feelings about wanting to be the "Man" and we all know it's the BRoy show here, but, having someone who is willing to take a big portion of the scoring load will take a huge load off of our main Star, give us more national recognition, and help make our front court one of the most feared in the NBA. Just as an F.Y.I., I do feel guilty writing this, I don't want to see LaMarcus go, and I want him to develop into 10x's the player Stoud is, and I want him to do it here in Portland. I guess I just was bored of all the ridiculous trades going on here and I wanted to put out a realistic one.

Blazers #4 on Steins PowerRanking
Long time Blazers fan (18+ yrs) been reading here for a couple of months and finally decided to get an account and post! My first one is of Marc Stein ranking the Blazers at #4 on his power rankings! #4!!! He also had nice things to say about the Blazers
"When they lost Oden and looked so shaky on the opening-night stage against the Lakers, how many of you had these kids closing November with a road win in Detroit and one of the last two unbeaten home records?"

Can't wait to sharing this season with you all!
