Burnt Orange Nation Gameday talks Longhorns, Rinaldi Interviews Mack

Just got done watching Gameday's story on the Horns.  Tom Rinaldi interviewed Mack, and the guys discussed Texas' troubles.  Thought I'd give a recap of the more interesting tidbits for those who missed it

"INTRO"

-Reece Davis: fans are angry.  They're questioning the playcalling of GD, who after falling behind 10-0 to KState, called 22 straight pass plays against the worst rush defense in the country.

"RINALDI INTERVIEW"

-Mack was initially reluctant to do the interview (what?!")

The Rinaldi interview was actually pretty good.  Tom Rinaldi asked some pretty direct, pointed questions.  Mack looked a little uncomfortable at times.

-Mack  backpedaled on the now infamous "can't trust my players, can't trust my coaches" post-Iowa State comment.   Mack brought up the entitlement, lack of preparation, but ultimately claimed full responsiblity.

Rinadli brought up the other now infamous line "if three players are playing bad, I've got to replace you" line.  Mack said he's been saying that for 27 years.  Rinadli followed up, "who should be replaced?"   Mack responded by saying we're not talking about that now, we do that at the end of the year, but "you continually look at what you need to do to make people accountable."  Another interesting Mack quote - "if your whole group is messing up, then you better look in that mirrah."

For anyone interested, last night during a College Gameday preview on Sportscenter, they mentioned they're doing a story on the "lost" Horns (or something like that. I was half asleep, memory is foggy).
