Not sure how I feel about this one. The MWC board folk seem to think this is a good hire, but my innate dislike of All Things Boise has me looking for the dark cloud behind the silver lining.

Long article, but well worth the read. One passage stood out to me:

He wanted absolution for being the guy who sold the Sonics away. We weren't having any of it. He was the woman asking, "Does this outfit make me look fat?" and instead of offering reassurance, I could only think: "You? You look like a fucking whale."

Excellent read, and a cautionary tale for what quite possibly lies in our immediate future...

According to SacTownMike in the above linked fanshot fanpost, KJ will be coming home today (Sunday):

"Mayor Johnson will be arriving in Sacramento tomorrow (Sunday) at 12:17 p.m. Flight (2284) Delta."

Usual suspects voted "nay" - some of the "yea" votes have expressed some wish that the NBA become a formal fourth party in the negotiations.
