I would like to start out saying that I have never witnessed the Royals or the Chiefs win it all and that greatly disappoints me. I am a college student studying broadcast journalism and I watch the Royals as much as possible. I am generally positive about the Royals but sometimes it is pretty tough.

Royals Review Royals slam through Tribe

Pitcher Kyle Davies (1-0) pitched strong into the sixth inning against the division rival Cleveland Indians.

John Buck earned his paycheck by hitting two homeruns and totaling five RBIs, four of which came on an eighth inning grand slam, giving the Royals a 9-3 advantage. Trey Hillman might have a problem a lot of managers would like. John Buck is heating up with three homeruns in three games. A positional battle could go down between Buck and Miguel Olivo. Olivo is batting .167 compared to Buck's .500.

Also noted, Farnsworth did not make a appearance much to the dismay of the Tribe.
