Simon Says Jets

Sadly Al Toon's son did not end up on the Jets. He has just begun rookie OTA's with the New Orleans Saints, and here's a great feature about him.

According to NFL.com the Jets exchanged some good natured ribbing with Seattle after they took Bruce Irvin. I wonder if the Jets tried to trade up a pick to get him, and it just never worked out?

The day before the Saints took on the 49ers was recorded by Sean Pamphilon, who was filming a documentary about Steve Gleason. While not surprising considering what we already know about the bounty program, this speech gave me chills.

Per Bleacher Report. Rex was talking about the Wildcat and said ""I told the team there’s only one coordinator that can stop the Wildcat with Brad Smith back there, and...it’s Brian Schottenheimer," So Rex is making a joke about the ex-coordinator's inability to run the Wildcat effectively. Does Rex have his foot in his mouth over this one?

According to Santonio Holme's twitter/facebook he was in Tanzania when it was announced that the Jets were getting Tebow. I envision him on safari, hearing the news, and walking straight up to a pack of lions and getting eaten. I imagine he is not thrilled about Tebow.

The post today had a big spread about Tebow (obviously) and included a bunch of people tebowing, and buying up jerseys. This personifies the hype more then anything, and even though I have come around and support the move these kind of fans really annoy me.

These are a little generic, but still make plenty of sense going into tonight's game against Toronto.

According to this article Landry said ""I can play strong or free," he said. "My main thing is I like to be in the mix. With this defense I can do both, be able to fly around and play ball. You got to change it up, especially with Tom Brady, going up twice against him. This defense allows you to play both and mix it up." I wonder what Rex's plans will be for him?
