center trade
it works on espn trader. Jermaine o niel and his contract as well as dooling for blatche. The wizards dont need blatche and wud like the expiring contract as well as a back up and mentor to wall. Cs get a proper big man who with better influence around him wud thrive. Hes the same height as O'Neal. and only last year was averaging 8 rebs a game 16 pts and a blk. hes also only around 25/26 - Thoughts?
OUR AMNESTY PLAYER
Im not totally sure of this new amnesty rule. If we dropped lets say one of our big contracts could we resign that same player as a free agent - eg drop KG and then resign him to a lower contract and then with that extra money let baby go and sign gasol?
huge summer
somethings are very obvious after this year. we do need to get younger and more athletic. theres areason celts lakers and spurs all went out early.
Kobe vs Shaq
last year when lakers won - kobe mentioned how he now had won one more than Shaq. This is why Shaq picked Boston, this is why Shaq agreed to play for alot less money than could have gotten elsewhere. Shaq picked Boston and Ainge decided with that trade to gamble everything on Shaq. We need da big fella to suit up and come out fightin and if does we will be in da finals and possibly gettin our revenge and maybe shaq gets to squash than annoyin self obessed vermin along da way
on da back of da west sucking
after recent posts about can anyone stop lakers - and mine about even without kobe wud anyone stop lakers gettin to da finals - my question is wud it be better after da first round should da west and east mix. you wud still have same amount of east teams and west but after da first round you wud mix it up. i think this wud make home court more important and also wud guarantee the best two teams in the finals and be at a level playing ground having gone thru similar competition gettin to the final. granted last year i think the best two team were in the final - you couldnt see that happening this year. a final four of lets say lakers(2) vs orlando (4) and then miami (1) vs celts (4). now again i could see the same final but i think this would be alot fairer and make better playoffs to watch. as is celtics like last year with (orlando, cleveland, lakers) will prob have to go thru orland and miami b4 gettin to lakers while they go thru nothing till prob face us. but not just as a celtic fan i think all round this is better. ive felt this in da past too when da west was stacked with likes of sa and lakers being da two strongest teams in nba facing eachother in da semis. thoughts???
even if kobe got injured
hey just a follow on from a post there "The West's Decline " which stated the poor competition the lakers face in the western conference - i was wondering what people think - if Kobe was injured for the entire playoffs would the lakers still get to the finals (rest of the lakers esp bynium fully fit). Personally with Phil Jackson - fisher, blake, barnes, artest, odom, gasol, bynium are still enuf to get past that conference and into the finals. I reckon without Kobe they couldn win the whole thing and either celtics miami orlando would beat them but i still reckon they could get to the final
Danny Ainges next addition
While ive wrote before that id try to get Wilson Chandler - see below. I think maybe the guy DA is waiting on is the newly traded James Posey. He does answer alot of what we need for next year (not for da distant future). He cant be traded for until later on in the year unless theres a buy out
"if we are to say the ideal addition to our team. We could do with a young player, a defensive stopper, athletic, can hit a spot up 3 and can be got for relatively little. Now Rudy has been named as well as has L. Hughes but in my opinon the player we should be chasing is Wilson Chandler. Hed be an unreal addition to us next season and the future. Can give multiple floor options, his length, an already good defensive player, serious athletism. Please somehow make it so Danny. Its a doable trade also if we are offering a trade for Rudy and supposedly Knicks offered Chandler for Rudy too. A3 way deal and we win it all next year"
WHO WUD BE IDEAL?

rudy - 3 way deal idea
rudy - 3 way deal????
portland gets our draft pick (and wud of thrown in sheeds contract)
knicks get rudy
celtics get wilson chandler – a perfect player for celts needs and at a good age, good defender too, long etc.
A league source told ESPN.com that in late June, several teams with draft picks in the teens offered to send their pick to Portland for Fernandez, but the Blazers -- who were being run by then-general manager Kevin Pritchard -- declined.
The Celtics and Bulls have since offered their No. 1 picks in 2011, the source said, and the Knicks have offered shooting guard Wilson Chandler. But with more than a month remaining until the start of NBA training camps, Cho is waiting to see what else becomes available.
All I can do now is stand on the rooftop and scream, 'He's not coming!' He's just not coming back. I've made that clear.
