Favre wired during the Lions game
http://www.break.com/index/brett-favre-wired-during-lions-game.html
I know some of you may have already seen this, and it is fairly old, but I just saw it and I thought I would share with my fellow Norsemen. This is more of Brett Favre loving to play the game of football.
I really hate this 75 word minimum. I usually don't have much to say. I already feel like I said more than what needed to be said about this video.

Are we forgetting about something?
What's going on with the Williams boys?
I thought that today was their day of reconing. Is it just because they aren't out of court yet, or did Favre trump all of this?
I was expecting today to bring me some news about this, but I guess Favre signing is a nice surprise....
(Yes, I am just adding words so it will post at this point) Seven more words is all I need.

I Swear to God
I will no doubt flip out and maybe give up on baseball forever if this is true.
I don't have ESPN Insider, but Buster Olney just released a headline that read "J. Mauer in pinstripes". If that has any semblance of truth to it, I will quit watching baseball altogether. I will make it my life mission to kick the shit out of any Yankees fan I ever come across. I will absolutely lose it, and most likely end up in prison for the rest of my life if Joe Mauer EVER ends up playing in New York.
Also, it's nice to be a new member of Twinkie Town. Been a lifelong fan and Minnesotan. I'm also on Norseman. Hey folks!!

Marvin Harrison??
I don't have ESPN Insider, and I refuse to pay money to read their wild speculations, but I just saw a headline that said Marvin Harrison to the Vikings.
I was just wondering what everyone thought about the idea of adding him to our roster. I think he would add veteran leadership and some sure hands to our receiver corps. However, is he too old and slow? And, if this rumor is true, what does this say about our front office? An over-the-hill quarterback throwing to an over-the-hill receiver. Thinking about it, though, I guess it would be an interesting dynamic considering Percy Harvin and Bernard Berrian....

Can we please stop the Owens talk now?
"Minnesota: Owens clashed repeatedly with Vikings coach Brad Childress when the pair were in Philadelphia. According to an oft-repeated, but possibly apocryphal story, Owens told Childress not to speak to him during his final season with the Eagles. Childress responded by going out of his way to say "Hi," to Owens every day. It would be a stunner if the pair reunited."

Seriously people. No more posts about this, please.

Madieu is weak
"It appears Madieu Williams' consecutive games streak will end at two this weekend. The Minnesota safety is doubtful for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay because of a left shoulder injury, one that apparently occurred Wednesday during the Vikings' special teams practice.
Williams missed the first seven games of the season because of a neck injury. But he had played well since his return -- intercepting a pass in the end zone Nov. 2 against Houston and tackling Green Bay receiver Donald Driver short of a first down on the penultimate play of last Sunday's 28-27 victory over the Packers.
Coach Brad Childress said he will give Williams another 48 hours before making a final decision on his status. And it should be noted that defensive end Jared Allen played against the Packers after being designated as doubtful on the injury report. By definition, however, there is a 75 percent chance that Williams won't play against the Bucs.
Speaking to Minnesota reporters, Williams said he took a "nasty" fall while lunging for a ball during the special teams practice.
After losing nickel back Charles Gordon (ankle) for the season, the Vikings are on track to enter Sunday's game without two of their top five defensive backs. Rookie Tyrell Johnson would replace Williams in the starting lineup, while veteran Benny Sapp will take over in the nickel for Gordon."

Kevin Seifert Wants You!
I don't know if this link will work, but if you check out the NFC North blog on ESPN you will know what I mean.
I sent him your way already, Gonzo. I apologize for my insurection :) I know ESPN is the enemy, but I thought you wouldn't mind a little publicity.
I need five more words for this to post.
