I used to work in radio and standup comedy but when those got boring I decided to become an accountant. But seriously, I enjoyed the two years I worked in sports radio. Since then I joined the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR), and I serve as director of marketing for that organization's Hanlan's Point Chapter. As a member of SABR's Biographical Committee, I have submitted articles for publication in "The National Pastime" and "Sock It To 'Em Tigers," along with forthcoming publications on the New York Mets, Detroit Tigers, and Chicago White Sox. I have also lectured on baseball at York University and at Seneca College, as well as the 2006 SABR Convention held in Seattle. I have seen a major league baseball game in 18 of the 30 active ballparks and my collection of memorabilia includes over 600 team yearbooks, including the first New York Yankees issue published in 1950.
