Bucs Dugout 6 Man Rotation?

Last week the bucs were talking about doing a 6 man rotation, by calling up Lincoln on September 1st.  With the rotation looking like this

Duke, Maholm, McDonald, Ohlendorf, Karstens, Lincoln.

But now that Ross is out for alil if not all yr, would the bucs still got with a 6 man rotation?  With Mortan instead of Ross?  To me they may as well get him some more experience vs major league hitters. ya baby

Bucs Dugout Hungtington and Russel

I was thinking today about how I heard that Neal and John are both in the last year of their contracts.  I need so help is this true?  I could see John not getting renewed but I hope they keep Neal.   I heard somewhere, maybe on here that Neal came to Pittsburgh with a 5 year plan he was going to implement and execute.  So if that is true I would assume he would get renewed.  God I hope so, JR on the other hand is a fringe manager, or a dime a dozen in my opinion.  But the only thing I like about him is he knew the first couple years of this job wasn't going to be easy, and he has done a good job with the media and sorts.  I still question some of his in game decisions.  So help me out ya'll.

Bucs Dugout Altoona Curve

I saw that today the Nationals announced Stephan Stasburg's first minor league start.  Which is April 11th at Altoona.  The Curve open their season on the 8th so the 11th is a sunday.  Just wondering if anyone is thinking of making the trip.  I know for me it would be 2 hours, but I assume it is a day game so I wouldn't have to miss work.  Now even though Strasburg will be in the majors this year, is it worth making the trip just to see him probably dominate most of the lineup? Just wondering what your thoughts are, 6 more days!

Bucs Dugout Elijah Dukes?

I know, I know we have 96 outfielders, but Elijah Dukes, I mean he is the poster child of Neal Huntington's FA signees.  Guys who fall out of favor with their organizations, it didnt say why he was released but Im sure its not a good reason.   Im a big NL fan and have followed him since coming over from TB.  With his athletic ability and power potential I would put up with his big mouth and bad sportmanship.  What do you guys think, just trying to fill the void in my life till April.

Bucs Dugout Delwyn Young

I mean come on, how can he not make the opening day roster over Vazquez.  After tuning into this Sunday's game he looked good.  Granite it is spring training but he has 3 jacks already and he has shown improvement witht the glove at second.  Still average at best but thats good enough if he keeps doing what he does best at the dish.  He made 2 nice plays at second today, and added a homer run, what do ya'll think?

Bucs Dugout Lineup Dreams

Just sitting around waiting for this futures/bucs game starting thinking about the lineup options the bucs have.  With the assumtions that Freddy and Laroche are gone and Garret Jones's emergance got me excited thinking about our options.  Our clubhouse average age would probably be 27, whoa thats young and not necesarily good.

C-Diaz/Jaramillo

1B-Doumit

2B-Young (I'll put up with his fielding if he hits 290-310)

SS-WIlson

3B-LaRoche

LF-Jones

CF-McCutchen

RF-Moss

BE-Salazar, Vazquez, Cruz

Bucs Dugout Minor League/Summer League

After looking around I started wondering the order of how the VSL, DSL, GCL and Spikes all play into the ascending order to the bigs? Granite all the summer leagues are rookie leagues, but what happens to all of the players playing there right now, does mangement promote the selected few they like?  Or do all the players get a crack at a higher level?  Do the different summer leagues rank above each other or are they all equal?

S I notice a few guys with some potential, and Im starting to realize another bad thing Littlefield did, and how he didnt have any quality talent in these leagues.  I bet a couple of these guys presently on the roster will get a hack at the Bucs lineup withing acouple of years.
