Peyton Manning Out for entire 2011 Season?
Looks like there is serious talk that Peyton Manning may be out for the entire 2011 season. This would definately have some significant ramifications on the rest of the NFL. Not to mention that this would likely add another win for the Chiefs, in what would have been a very tough road win. For all of the Fantasy Football owners that drafted him hoping for a deal, I hope it isn't true. For the rest of us, a nice plus. Though I personally really like Manning and will miss watching him on the field this year if he is out. A player, that I think is the best QB in the history of the game.

Rubbing the Shoe - A New Arrowhead Tradition
I have been a season ticket holder for 7 years now, so I feel like I have lived through the worst and am ready for the change I can feel in the wind around Arrowhead.
Last year I opted to have one of those KC Bricks placed with my family names on it out in the Plaza by the North Entrance. When I arrived at the stadium for the first time I was anxious to see our Brick and check out the newly finished areas.
After reading the quotes about Lamar on the base, I saw a lady I was standing near walk by the Statue, rub Lamar's shoe and say a quick thank you for all he's done. At that moment, I knew I had a new pregame tradition. Now before every homegame I stop by the plaza, check out our brick and then rub Lamar Hunt's right shoe. In the same vein as Haley changing our away uniforms for the Seattle game, I have now rubbed the shoe at every home game this year and we are 5-0! It just cannot be a coincidence! OK I am having fun with that here, but I tell you what, it is definately a permanent part of my gameday ritual at Arrowhead and it appears to be working... Go Chiefs!!!
