Hogs Haven What we have.....

here is a failure to communicate, play football as professionals (get paid = professional), perform basic football playing functions such as run, block, pass and catch, properly represent a team, the fans of that team and a city (area) that deserves much better given the support and endless adoration by such a loyal fan base.

Is there truly a need to elaborate further on such a pitiful performance as was demonstrated today by the Washington Redskins?

Hogs Haven Riggo or Blache...

who you gonna believe? First of all, which is being paid by Snyder and which isn't? Look at what has been done to the fans by the Redskins organization which is led by whom? The facts speak for themselves and the idea that someone with notoriety has come forward and blasted the organization and Snyder is a good thing. Snyder fired Frank Herzog thru Vinny Cerrato's pal who does the play by play on the radio for the games for being critical of Snyder. So, in summation, "dark heart" is more likely than not!

Hogs Haven Focus is where?

How can anybody trust what Vinny Cerrato says, they are just changing the focus "flip flopping" as usual without doing anything of substance. Cerrato just wants his behind off the hotseat so he is going to say anything of appeasement and support to make sure that happens. In all the interviews, the televised ones, has anybody observed Cerrato looking at the camera or even in the eye of the interviewer? TRUST is not a word that I would use regarding that jackass!

Hogs Haven Succop's (Suckup's like Portis) defeats

Redskins attempts to win against a preciously winless Kansas City Chiefs football team. This Redskins season reminds me of the Abbott and Costello routine of "Who's on first?". Portis needs to practice as the rep's make for a smooth transition of the ball from quarterback to runningback, enough of the "prima dona" crap and the cry baby antics, just PLAY FOOTBALL! I had originally picked the Redskins to go 7 and 9, now I am doubtful of that and have to go along with The Sporting News selection of 4 and 12 which only amounts to pitiful. Forget next years draft as we know that this organization cannot assess talent properly, Redskin fans are doomed to mediocrity (at best) for the next five or more years. What else is there?

Hogs Haven NFL Experience...

I have re-concluded that the Redskins version of the "NFL Experience" is pitiful and has been declining for the past ten years. Having read the majority of postings and determining that the outcry for change is more than conjecture, more than a bad rumor but actually quite real, could it be possible that we, the true fans form an association and petition the NFL for better treatment. Maybe Roger Goodell would listen. Just a thought.

Hogs Haven Cause and effect....

This Sherman Smith doesn't come across as standard operating procedure for Danny The Snyde as Sherman Smith is not a "big name" nor will he put butts in seats with overpriced hot dogs and an $8.00 bottle of beer. In review of the past two weeks in the ever changing world of the Washington Redskins, all of the commentary and conjecture, bag confiscation, a win with poor performance...somebody, somewhere, has gotten to Danny The Snyde and talked some sense into him. Zorn and Smith both learned the "west coast offense" from the same person, Mike Holmgren. Smith will be able to critique down and distance with the play that was called in that those plays are not only taped but manually recorded by the back up quarterback. This is not good for Zorn! I could be wrong but did Zorn not say during a post game radio interview that he would bench Sonny Jurgensen in a game situation if Jurgensen called an audible to the original play called by Zorn? In listening to the radio broadcast of the game with Tampa there was a good deal of criticism of Zorn by Jurgensen. Danny The Snyde respects Jurgensen and I am fairly certain that Jurgensen has the direct access to Danny The Snyde, ergo the entry of Sherman Smith to the Washington Redskins as a "Consultant". I believe that equates to Cause and effect!

Hogs Haven Sunday was a win, but....

as the Redskins seem proficient in winning games against winless teams in the NFL they play Carolina  for their next game which is at Carolina and a team that has not won a game thus far. On the road the Redskins are winless this season (surprise). Carolina sees the film of the Redskins performances and that team has a defense which is substantially better than that of Tampa Bay. This game has the potential to be a train wreck for the Redskins as Carolina is under a great deal of pressure, similar to the Redskins, to win. I am certain that their fan base is as unhappy on the same level as we are. This game will be the make or break point for the Redskins. This will be a great game to watch, if not an entertaining one!

Hogs Haven Fire Cerrato

Do you all know that Cerrato was in the "unemployment line" when he was hired by Snyder. Yep, he was fired by San Francisco for doing the same thing there that he's doing here. He ruined the 49'ers and now he's ruining the Redskins. Cerrato is nothing more than a bad accident that is constantly happening. It's no wonder that the Redskins can't draft, ccould'nt trade Campbell (the starting quarterback) even for draft picks. That's really a laugher, the starting quarterback, a number one draft pick who has no value! Then there's Zorn who needed a job as he was about to be fired by Seattle, hired as the offensive coordinator and got the Head Coach position as they could'nt get anybody else to take the job. Cerrato is the problem, Cerrato is the problem, Cerrato is the problem. The Redskins are done for at least the next three years, nothing more than fodder for the good teams. How much for a beer and hot dog at FedEx Field? Dan "Danny the Snyde" Snyder is turning 13% net from the Redskins...he's making a fortune, a minimum of $135,000,000.00 net off this venture of Redskins ownership. Thank you for reading this, I hope that it has shed some light on what's really going on and what WE are paying for with our support of the Washington Redskins.
