I was browsing Kissing Suzy Kolber today, and I came across this funny bit about the Texans. I'm sort of honored that we're being joked about by KSK. As far as I know we've never gotten an entire post there for ourselves that wasn't about us completely sucking. It's not national recognition, but I'll take it none the less.

McNair, 36, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, police spokesperson Don Aaron said.

One of my favorite players of all time. One of the few classy members of the Titans. It's too bad his time in Houston was short, but in the years after the move, he was one of the reasons I could convince myself to watch the Titans. He deserved a Super Bowl ring.

McShay and Kiper

Is it just me or do they just not know much about football? I think McShay is worse than Kiper personally, but they both kinda suck. McShay's latest mock has us taking Robert Ayers at 15. Most places I've read have him as a very late 1st rounder or very early 2nd. McShay doesn't even mention that we would probably trade down if we wanted Ayers. He makes this pick even though Matthews is still on the board and I'm pretty sure other higher rated DE were there also. Remember earlier when he had us taking Sanchez? I'm just saying, I know the draft is a crapshoot and it's hard to get inside the GMs' heads but come on. Kiper and McShay just seem really really awful to me. Maybe they always have been and I'm just now noticing, but ESPN leans on them so much (We have 2 draft experts!!!) they just seem so subpar. I know I'm isolating just a few picks, but I'm just trying to figure out how they became "experts" when they suck this bad. Kiper isn't quite as bad he gave us Cushing which at least makes more sense from value/pos of need perspective. I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
