Not good. Here's to hoping Adam can change this trend and take his Eagles record to 2-13 this week.

Yesterday JasonB posted a story on the front page about whose jersey would be the best to buy right now. One day later, coincidentally (or not), Sheil Kapadia posted a story about the "10 most buyable Eagles jerseys."

Hmmm? I don't know, maybe it is a coincidence. Maybe he did think of this on his own. There really is no sign of plagiarism, so you can't get on him too much. But there have been a few other times where I see a story concept from BGN pop up on Sheil's website "Moving the Chains" shortly thereafter being posted on BGN.

Makes you wonder...

Either way, Sheil goes on to write a nice breakdown on why each player's jersey might or might not be the best buy for you.

When reading through Ray Didinger's column about Ricky Sapp, I came across this interesting piece of information:

"The senior players (on the team) are the kickers Sav Rocca (36) and David Akers (35). The only other player over 30 is defensive end Juqua Parker, who will be fighting for a job."

Could the Eagles be the youngest team ever in the history of the NFL? I have no idea, but to my knowledge this is the youngest team I've ever heard of or seen.

If you ask me, this makes for an exciting year and a promising future.

I don't like to put a lot of stock into what Bucky Brooks writes, but I found this pretty interesting. He makes an attempt to "go back in time" and re-do the 2007 Draft and when he does, he makes Brent Celek the Ravens selection at 29:

Celek -- a fifth-round pick by the Eagles in 2007 -- enjoyed a breakout season in 2009, and flashed the potential to become a difference maker as a deep middle threat."

Reuben Frank from CSNPhilly.com breaks down the "myth" that Kolb can't throw the deep ball; as well as breaking down McNabb's career by the numbers.

"The conclusion: the Eagles must find a team willing to rent McNabb for $11 million for a season by May 5, and give up more than a late third-round pick for that option. Or a team that loses a quarterback to injury after May 5 could rent McNabb for the prorated amount of his $5 million base salary for 2010.

That’s why it is unlikely that any deal for McNabb would take place before May 5, unless a rogue team like the Raiders or Redskins decide to fork over the $11 million instead of waiting five weeks to make a deal.

Expect the drama to continue about Donovan McNabb and the Eagles into May."

I typically hate when Mike Florio and the rest of the staff at ProfootballTalk.com give their opinions on topics. But a lot of times they do a great job at reporting facts and breaking down which reports are erroneous and which might have some substance to them. This time is no different. In their most current entry they break down a lot of the "reports" of the last week and put them in perspective. Take a look.

Check out Tommy Lawlor's most recent post about McNabb... The article (blog entry) is interesting.

His comment in the comment's section is even more interesting... "I can't get into specifics, but you're wrong about McNabb's value." I don't know if he has inside info or if he's just going off what he's heard through the media.

... It sounds like he has inside info.

"Seattle Seahawks have expressed interest in one – not two – Eagles quarterbacks.

A source in Seattle has informed Comcast SportsNet that the Seahawks have contacted the Eagles about Kevin Kolb, contradicting a report that the team has asked about Donovan McNabb as well.

When asked if the Eagles had anything to add to the report, the team responded "No."

Asked about the possibility of acquiring McNabb, the Seattle source said it would leave the Seahawks in the same position they’re in with veteran Matt Hasselbeck – but wouldn’t elaborate further.

Hasselbeck – like McNabb – is entering the final year of his contract."

Jason Reid of the Washington Post writes that the rumor is that the Redskins would send quarterback Jason Campbell to the Buffalo Bills for safety Donte Whitner and a draft pick.

It looks like this is just at "rumor-level" for the time being, but would you guys be upset if it came to fruition?

"A retirement press conference is planned for Cardinals QB Kurt Warner on Friday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, with the star also likely to discuss future post-playing plans."

Does this open the door for McNabb in Arizona?

"Jon Sandusky has been hired as director of player personnel (for the Browns) after spending the past nine seasons with the Eagles, including the last two as director of pro personnel."

Also, "John Spytek was hired as personnel executive (for the Browns). He was with the Eagles for the past five seasons, including three as a college/pro scout."

Most of you are already very familiar with Tommy Lawlor. If you aren't, I suggest you get to know his work. He writes for the Eagles website and for his own blogs, Eagles Blitz and Scouts Notebook. He is an avid fan of the Eagles and a very knowledgeable one at that.

He wrote a great piece about the future at QB for the Eagles. I think it's definitely worth a read for any Eagles fan out there.

Personally, I am still torn on the whole McNabb/Kolb debate, but Tommy puts up a very strong (and realistic) case in favor of Kolb. Check it out, if you have the time. (It's rather long).
