It's early. Call me crazy, but I am going to make a bold prediction that Xavier will definitely be a jayhawk next year. This year's draft is going to be very very deep, and I just don't think X will have enough chances to show he is 1st round material this year. I think he will come into next year with Ed Davis-like expectations and end up being a top 10 pick in 2011.

I know it's sooo early to think about next years draft. But draftexpress (typically one of the best nba draft sites) has Tyshawn going mid 1st round and Xavier going at 22. I had no clue scouts were even looking at tyshawn that close yet

I have to disagree. Phil Steele calls for UTEP to play in C-USA title game, and says Southern Miss has a great chance to go undefeated this season

Xavier is #5, but I had no clue Robinson was thought so highly of by NBA people. EJ is at #15

Bumped up to the front page. Check comments for more early 2010 recruiting news. - JQ

This kid is #1 SF in class of 2010.

Harrison Barnes is the No. 1 small forward in the Class of 2010 and he is being courted accordingly. During the recent recruiting period, Kentucky coach John Calipari, Kansas coach Bill Self, Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel, Iowa State coach Greg McDermott and North Carolina assistant Steve Robinson all came to watch Barnes during open gyms.

I may be looking too much into this but yesterday when asked about the schools on his list he said Kansas first without hesitation. Never hurts to dream :)
