While waiting on the bus the other day I was asked what I thought about the shannahan firing (I always wear my Broncos hat) so I told the guy I was shocked, but some what understood. Well, he proceedes to turn his hat around to show a KC symbol(royals not chiefs, but still) so I asked him what his thoughts on keeping Herm was. He goes on to tell me that with their new GM this will help his transition to the new team because Herm knows the personel and what not. He goes on to mention Herm is probably in his last year in KC (contract ends) and sayes they will probably hire shannahan. Say it ain't so Shanny not the Chefs!

So hopefully the shock of the Shannahan firing has settled a little bit in your minds. Now we have to move on and look at our options for a new HC. I just wanted to put this post up as a place for informal discusion of who us MHR bloggers want as the head of the next regime. Will we wait a year for our real choice, or are we going to grab an available coach now. The Broncos are supposed to be the premier job opening this season, so just about any option should be concidered.

The search is on and I would like to know who you are looking forward to being the next HC of our great organization. So post the name of the coach you want and a reason why he will/should be concidered for the job.

Or post where you think Shanny will end up, and how well he will do there.
