Vol fan from South Texas that married a Duck. Go figure.
(and they won't let me choose 2 NCAAF teams, so first priority goes to Traffic Cone Orange. Sorry, Green 'n Gold...or is that Thunder 'n Lightning?)

Spectacular quote from this week's SI
From this week’s Sports Illustrated…nice story on last weekend’s rivalry games, highlighted by the Civil War.
"I think people in this state like BOTH teams," proclaims Nick Aliotti, the Ducks' defensive coordinator. "Except for our hard-core fans, I don't think most Duck fans would have been terribly upset to see Oregon State going to the Rose Bowl."
He ventured this opinion a hundred yards or so from where Bishop, the rose-wielding Oregon partisan, had concluded a midfield interview with this sign-off: "Now if you'll excuse me, my son is going to videotape me while I dance on the Beaver."
Nothing will stop me from visiting Autzen for my first game next year.

I'm still "new" to the Pac-10
I'd like to know what the general consensus is about Arizona and UCLA as far as history goes. I've heard all sorts of talk from my lady and her family about how the Ducks hate U-Dub or the farmers from Corvallis. And just by being an SEC fan the past few years, I know how much the world hates SC. But I don't know anything else about the next two opponents on the schedule.
So, loyal Quack readers, how should I feel going into these final two away games for the season?
Thanks!!

Dixon on the moon?
This is by far the best thing I've seen today...a snarky take on what Phil Knight's next move is to help promote the university: Dennis Dixon's image plastered on the moon.
