I was just digging around the internet when I found this interesting piece on our rookie stud. Even though it was written before the NHL entry draft, it offers some good insight into the humble defenseman's choices concerning his hockey future leading up to the draft.

I don't know about the rest of you, but Fowlermania has taken over me. Every time he steps out on the ice, my eyes are glued to him for the entirety of the shift. His puck handling skills, as everyone knows, suggest he is anything but an inexperienced rookie. Like many of us have stated in the game threads, his poise under pressure is astonishing. He has brought a new dimension of excitement to the table, as we get to watch this dynamic 18 year old battle night in and night out against grown men twice his age. Hard to believe this guy is a month older than me and is playing in the NHL.

By the way, I'd like to add that Cam scored before Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin did.

This is my first post on these boards, but I have been following and posting on an occasional game day chat for a couple weeks. I'm a senior in high school, and am seriously considering going to Oregon for the Sports Marketing Major. Sports are a huge part of my life, both taking part in them and watching them. I take pride in the sports teams of my school, which is why going to Oregon would be great, at least football wise.

So rather than drawing conclusions from research, I have turned to the ATQ message boards for a consensus opinion on the state of the basketball program. I'm curious as to the history of the program, in terms of win-loss records, Pac-10 titles, and national titles (if any). Also, how does the recruiting usually go? And information on the coaching staff would be a great help as well.

I can't help but ignore the 2-16 conference record from last season... This scares me.

The general consensus among the fans here is that we are in big, big doo-doo.

Remember when some of us in the pre-game thread were predicting the end game score? We were all posting up "34-17 CU" or something similar. Nobody predicted this...

PS- I want Darrell Scott to transfer to a program with a half decent head coach who will get his star running back more than one carry per game. I respect the hell out of Darrell Scott and his family; this kid has a mature head on his shoulders, being able to deal with his critics from last year and all. Hawkins has ruined a phenom's first two years of college football. He can't get those two years back.

And, I would like to let you all know that the domain name www.firedanhawkins.com is reserved, so people cannot create a campaign to get him fired. That is hilarious. But I heard www.firedanhawkinsNOW.com is still available. Anybody want to jump on that?

Yep. If you can't figure it out, we're not telling you. Other than that, they won a title in the early '90s with the help of a missed call and they're pretty much a running punchline these days.

I know that the article is written in good fun, but its still a wierd feeling when you read that. Especially when a claim is made that our title was not entirely earned.

Hey everyone, for those of you who recognize the name, I'm the same SoCalBuff12, just different account.

Anyways, I convinced my parent sto let me fly out to Colorado for a weekend this summer to tour CU and head out to a Rockies game. I was wondering if, while I am visiting CU if there is any way I could gain access to Folsom Field? I was thinking there is a chance that the gates would be open for summer access. Probably not though.

On my previous two tours of the school, the groups just pass by the stadium :( .  It's such a beautiful stadium, so I kinda wanna get to walk around on the inside for myself :)
