Rajon Rondo
As a Lakers fan, I am loving what the Bulls are up too in the first round. They aren't afraid of the Celtics.
I HATE Rajon Rondo. I HATE him. With a deep, fiery, burning passion.
He threw my boy Kirk Hienrich into the press table. He cracked Hienrich's head open. He insisted on giving Brad Miller dental work, and when Miller refused, Rondo lost his temper and b*tch slapped him.
(Joking^, but really. Enough is enough, Rondo.)
I want the Celtics to end up in the Finals, so we can humiliate them, and most importantly, humiliate Rajon Rondo.
This guy is a girl in a (skinny, and ugly) man's body. Rondo should be charged with more than a Flagrant 1 for the incident with Hienrich. He should have been served with a Flagrant 2 and been rightfully thrown out of the game.
Please, Laker Nation, discuss in anger with me. Someone needs to teach Rondo a lesson. I hope Karl Malone gives him his patented Elbow-to-the-face + the confused "How is that a foul? expression".
2009 Predictions
What do you all think we can do this year? Coach Hawkins says 10; whether he truly believes that or if he is trying to fire up the team, I don't know.
The news from this past week has sort of brought me down to earth a bit. After reading in the prior months about how we are continuing to build the program from scratch with a newer offense, healthy and improved O-line, a fit Darrell Scott, etc., I was starting to really believe that by the time the season arrived we could be a ten win team. However, I'm not so sure now (not that my opinion means much).
Also, aside from stating what you think our record will be by season's end, do you think that either Moten or Evans can step up for us? Not necessarily this season, but next year, and the year after.

Anybody want to create a caption for this picture?
I completely forget how I strolled upon this picture, but I found it minimized on my computer when I came home from school today and thought I'd share it with you all.

Also: If somehow I found this picture within the depths of this site, I apologize and you can go ahead and delete this post if you like. Also I'm kinda under the influence... yeaaaah... just a few more words... there. 75ish.

I'm a little under the influence so feel free to take it down if its not as funny to you as it is to me. These pictures got me laughin endlessly.
Gillispie fired
Man, this guy only had two years to work something out. Ouch.
Makes me wonder about Hawkins. What, he is in his fourth year now?
Before you say I'm claiming Hawkins is a failure, let me tell you I support him. With the state of the program the way it was when Hawk took over, it doesn't really bother me that we aren't at the top of the Big 12 North yet.
Do you think if Gillispie had a little more time he could turn it around?
For those who don't know, Gillispie took over the Men's Basketball program at Kentucky two years ago.
Rediculous... Greg Jones
The likelihood of a pipeline into another state
What do you all think the likelihood is of opening a pipeline into a state like Oklahoma, after the Shaun Simon commit? The idea sounds great and plausible, but what are the chances that one or two signings cracks open the door for a stream of talented commits in the future years?
The state doesn't have to be Oklahoma, obviously, I was just naming one example.
Oh, another question. I was trolling other SBNation school sites (USC), and found that they hardly know Byron Moore is considering us. Also, when I talk to my friends at school about recruits and stuff (Im a junior in high school, southern California btw) they talk as if Colorado has never had a history in football. I know that this is due to the last three seasons or so particularly, but still... Even over at the other blog sites I'm getting the feel that others see us as irrelevant. This has to change!
