Someone probably has said this before but I just heard this the first time and it made me laugh.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the Jags, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the Bucs then what does that make the Tennessee Titans?

Anywho I need 29 more words so let me say I really like our draft class this year. I think our top 3 picks have a lot of potential to be big time players for us.

Sad to say cause I really like him but this answer is just retarted in his Mailbag....

Q: The Titans have a lot of needs, but WR has been the problem for a while. If the Titans do not sign Torry Holt, would they consider drafting a wide receiver in the first round?

Billy in Littleton, Colo.

A:

For some reason, the Titans don't like taking receivers in the first round. The Titans historically have used second- or third-round choices on wide receivers. Unfortunately for them, many of those picks haven't worked out. They'd love to find the next Derrick Mason. I still think the Holt move is the best one for them. They can use the first-round pick on a quarterback.

Seriously??? A Quaterback in the 1st round? I'd like to know who would be worthy of that because Stafford, Sanchez and Freeman will be off the board by #30.

Hopefully this was a typo and he meant Cornerback.

Here's a link to the column http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=4082772

Lavelle Hawkins that is. Paul Kuharsky announced it on the ESPN blog Hashmarks and compares him to Derrick Mason. Well at least we know now why they didn't get fat albert signed they were too busy getting rookie contracts taken care of. I believe Hawkins has a great future with this team and maybe more notably that we got him because of the pacman trade.

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/hashmarks/0-8-204/Titans-agree-with-WR-Hawkins.html

NFL's Dirtiest Player

ESPN had a poll based on NFL coaches votes and Rodney Harrison was voted the Dirtiest. Kevin Mawae got 1 vote which I thought was funny. Courtland Finnegan got an honorable mention from WR Brandon Stokley of Denver:

Stokley also singled out Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan as a player with bad intentions. Finnegan, a former small-school prospect and seventh-round draft choice, has become popular in Tennessee for playing with an edge. But his name hasn't shown up among those with the most personal fouls.

"It really doesn't bother me," Stokley said. "It's a part of it and it's a violent, aggressive game. As long as guys don't take it too far. I really don't think it's a big problem in the league."

Your my boy Finn!
