Things I enjoy include the New York Yankees; players who hustle on every play; Keith Hernandez calling baseball games (YES should offer him a contract); girls in baseball tees and caps who actually know about the game; watching Mo Rivera show no emotion ever; clips of Paul O'Neill breaking stuff in the dugout during the glory days; and watching Brett Gardner run.

Pinstripe Alley Best Commentator(s) for Playoffs?

Unabashed enthusiasm whenever the Yanks have something going against them, corny jokes that seem to come up at the worst time, no-shit-Sherlock analysis that flat-out increases the blood pressure of any Yankee (or baseball) fan listening, lame attempts to water-down Yankee positives --

Listening to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver call the playoffs is enough to put anyone on anti-depressants.

While it seems unlikely that we'll be able to get rid of them, we can come to a conclusion as to who we prefer in the booth during October here on the Alley.
