ESPN columnist Chris Broussard stated in NBA Coast to Coast earlier today that the Pistons are letting Rasheed Wallace walk after this season just for cap room relief. I want to know what the Warrior fans think about bringing in Rasheed. I personally would love to try to sign him this off season without hurting our salary cap of course. Now before everyone starts hating me for wanting to bring him in, let's not think about his on court antics and take a look at what positives he brings to the table:

since we're stuck with Nellie for another season or 2, wouldn't you say he fits right in? i like the fact that he spreads the floor so Monta can do his thing going to the rack and he is under rated for his D. I have never seen one of the best help and recover player that can cover so much ground. not to mention him and jack will bring some kind of intimidation( and a collection of techs) so other teams will have that scared look that Randolph always has on his face.

Its late Saturday night and I was just thinking about whats wrong with our team and why we can't win. and then it dawned on me. we have to many players that want to be a star and score a lot of points. I look back at teams that was loaded with stars like the Lakers that included the Mailman and Glove. Dallas that had Walker, Jamison,
Raef in his prime. they didn't win. The same goes for the dubs. so knowing that, here are a few role players that I would love to see in a Warriors uni before the trade deadline on Feb. 19, 2009. I do not think we need to get anymore super stars because we already have Monta, Andris and Jack. We just need players I will fit nicely with them. Here are some of the players I think that will help us out without cramping anyone's style:

Tayshaun Prince- Poor mans Pippen. Long, plays great D and does not need the ball in his hands to make a difference. can guard point guards to power forwards. can adjust to any system meaning run and gun or half court.

Vladimir Radmanovic- Pretty good role player for the team I really hate but he's having trouble finding his rhythm with them and I read a few days ago that they don't mind trading away his contract. He was really fun to watch when he was with the Sonics because he can really light it up from the outside for a guy that's almost 7' tall.

Tony Battie- One guy that will never be a star but will give you toughness, rebounds, and other stuff that does not show on the stat sheet. known as a great locker room guy. someone every young team needs.

Louis Amundson- Who? a lot of people does not know this back up center for the Suns but this guy is a white version of Ronnie. he brings it everytime he's on the court and he's slowly getting more and more mins over Robin Lopez.

Joel Przybilla- can never have enough young big men that rebounds and blocks shots

Ronnie Brewer- Similar to Tashaun Prince. can defend multiple positions and brings a lot of energy.

Mike James- He was a fantastic back up point on the Pistons championship team. When he left, he tough too highly of his game. If he can understand his role once again, he can be a great addition to any team.

what do you guys think? are there any other players that should be on this list?

Let us face reality, our team sucks. Our season is pretty much over unless we make a big splash before the trade deadline but I doubt it. Look at the bright side though, the way things are going, we might have a top 10 or maybe even a top 5 pick.

Here are the 3 guys I think will fit right in and the Warriors should take a long look at if they are still on the board in next years draft:

Greg Monroe, F/C, Fr., Georgetown
Monroe has so many tools for a big man that the Chris Webber comparisons were inevitable. He can shoot, handle the ball, pass and get up and down the floor. While there were questions about his work ethic and drive in high school, his strong play for Georgetown has quieted those concerns.

His stellar game against UConn and lottery prospect Hasheem Thabeet Dec. 29 pushed him into the Top 5. A few scouts have him as high as No. 3. And one NBA exec has him as the No. 2 player on the board. If he continues to improve as the season goes on, he's the one guy on this list that could challenge Griffin for the No. 1 pick

James Harden, SG, So., Arizona State
Harden was under the radar for much of 2008, but his play has been stellar this season. He does virtually everything well and reminds many scouts of Brandon Roy. Harden looks like one of those players who will be able to contribute immediately in the NBA and projects as a surefire Top 5 pick. Many scouts and executives have him as high as No. 2 on their draft boards.

Brandon Jennings, Italy
When scouts watch video of him in high school, or watch him in practice in Italy, Jennings looks like a Top 5 pick. He's blessed with great athleticism and virtually every skill you want in a point guard. But he's been a disappointment when he's on the floor in Europe. Chalk a lot of that up to a difficult transition from high school to Euro ball. But some of that uncertainty is starting to weigh on his stock. Jennings still looks like a Top 10 pick at the moment, but there isn't a consensus like there was in June.

I think the Warriors are almost guaranteed to trade Wright at some point before the late-February trade deadline. And I think, if they have any shot of moving Maggette, they’d have to include Randolph (maybe Wright AND Randolph just to move Maggette), which is such an abject surrender that I cannot imagine where they’d go from there. can you guys imagine the front office trading Andris, Randolph and Wright? I personally think these are the guys that should remain untouchable. trading everyone else but them is cool with me. Who do you think we should keep?

Please stop talking about Baron. He is gone and he does not want to be a Warrior. He'd rather be home and now he's happy. Lets leave it at that.

How can anybody talk about getting rid of Don Nelson after he saved this city. Everyone in this basketball world was actually talking about the Warriors in a serious manner and not some kind of a joke the last couple of years. If it was not for him, we wont have these fond memories of the Oracle covered in yellow and Baron dunking on AK47. Maybe those highlights can take the place of Jamison scoring back to back 50 points on foxsports in the future.

Gerald Wallace is a BAD idea for a trade. If we're going to trade Maggette, we need to get a power forward in return. that's the biggest hole in our team. We don't want to take back all that cash Wallace is due just to get 50 to 60 games out of him a season.Not to mention the fact that our backcourt is already loaded.

We need to keep Belinelli. Have you seen him play lately? He's a smaller version of Peja. He can flat out shoot and the more he gets a feel for the game, the better he will get. And who knew he could pass too. He's got some crazy no look bullet passes. he will never be a star but he'll be a really good role player in this league.

Wright is the real deal. It puzzles me why he does not get consistent minutes but who am I to say, I am not the coach. I would really like to see him get at least 25 mins a game so we have another scorer down low.

I saw the game yesterday and POB looks really impressive. Yes, you might say it's the preseason but he fits in  with the celtics really well. Playing with unselfish players like KG, P Double and Ray helps and takes the pressure off of him. i think the warriors gave up too soon on him. big men take longer to develope and he just needed time on the court. look what happened to beans when he got time after riding the bench for a few seasons. he was basically a bust that couldn't make a lay up or free throws. who ever knew he was going to be a big piece of the warriors
