For years I have ignored women's softball. I found myself with nothing else to do about a week ago and decided to tune in. Good Lord! These girls are drop dead gorgeous and strong in all the right places. Of course there are some husky linebacker types, but there are an equal amount of girls that I would call at least twice. If you find the time fellas, keep your eyes peeled for Arizona State and Florida (Wow!). My favorite without a doubt was Arizona but I believe that the they were eliminated on Saturday.

I feel that nothing could motivate the tigs more than Magg's new druglord look. This is just the spark that we needed. Good call Ordonez!!!! It has yet to take reach out to long time tiger heartbreaker/thrillseeker Todd Jones though. He was once again living on the edge today as he danced with the Seattle lineup in what should now be called the dangerzone in Detroit (the treacherous 9th inning). Thank god we took more than a one run lead. Seriously Jones, hang up the handlebars and call it a career.

I'm not sure how many of you are, but I am a faithful Baseball Tonight viewer. Tonight's episode was one of way too many that featured Eric "EY" Young. I honestly believe that he was either drunk or had been smoking crack before the show. I had to turn on the closed captioning in order to try and understand what this moron was saying, only to see several consonants in a row pop up. I'm not sure which was worse, the grammatical typhoon coming out of EY's mouth or the tablecloth/80's couch he was trying to pass off as a decent suit. The best part of the dialogue tonight was the blatant disgust in John Kruk's voice whenever he broke down and responded to EY's incompetent babbles. Didn't understand a word. I hope Steve Phillips is throwing an empty whiskey bottle at the TV screen in his Minnesota hotel room. Oh yeah..........nice nickname douchebag!!!!

Grilli and J. Jones are gone. Hopefully Miner is next up for the axe. I do agree that Sheffield has no business playing defense-it does nothing but increase his chances of serious injury. No he hasn't come around at the plate this year, but I feel that it is only a matter of time. Big Clete Thomas, Thames and Rayburn are 3 perfectly good candidates for the LF position or a rotation of the slot. I haven't heard much about the guy they brought up for RF, but it's a rather large risk after being swept and going into a 4 game series against Boston followed by another run against the Yankees and Twins-lets hope this pans out as Dice K, as well as the rest of the Boston pitching staff are on top of their game.
