Pats Pulpit Patriots to Pursue Nnamdi Asomugha??

ESPN Matt Williamson is reporting that the Patriots already have interest.  I hear that he is a top cover corner, but he didn't look that great against Moss last weekend.  I think this is what they need, I cannot watch another season of O'Neal and Hobbs getting lit up.  I believe he would be able to easily replace Asante Samuel from the past couple seasons.

Pats Pulpit Patriots Have No Luck

Colts Jaguars Football The 2008 New England Patriots are like a kid in high school who gets all geared up to go out on a date with the class slut. You buy her flowers, take her to the movies, maybe even dinner. The conversation has been good. You brought your A-game. Then, your getting ready to park your car and see that money you spent on her now put to good use. Then for some unknown reason, she has morals, and won't even kiss you nor go anywhere near your pants. She's a tease. That's how the Patriots luck has been this season. Just when you thought the Patriots would catch a major break last week with a Jets loss, divine intervention steps-in, and somehow, someway, allows the Jets to get a miracle victory. If Bernard Pollard is the most hated man in New England, J.P. Losman can't be too far behind. Then last night, a Jaguars victory would have really helped the Patriots playoff chances out greatly. They come out looking awesome. Go into the fourth quarter up 10 points, and all of a sudden, David Garrard becomes Brett Favre. In a tie game, Garrard, much like Favre in last seasons NFC Championship, throws an interception to give the Colts the lead. 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. But, since the Patriots seemed to get teased every week, the Jags drive down the field, and look like they are going to tie-up the game. But! Garrard gets sacked! To end the game! And the Colts clinch a playoff berth. Now, the Patriots must hope that the Dallas Cowboys beat the Baltimore Ravens this week, and the Patriots win-out in their final two games. And they're in. Winning the division seems to be unlikely. They would have had a great chance to win the division if it weren't for J.P. f-cking Losman! But, that's been the Patriots luck this season. Ever since last seasons Super Bowl loss, its like the universe is against them. Can we catch one break, please ?
