Neil Funk fired Luol Deng tonight. So today is Neil Funk day. The purpose of this fanshot is to list all the crazy shit Neil funk has said during a game. So please rec this so we can just document his badness.

I used to respect Neil Funk but he is so bad that it's become funny bad. He really has lost his marbles. He offers probably three or four funny bad comments a night that even a loss is worth watching.

So please come up with some funny bad Neil Funk stuff.

I'll start it off. When a player dunks he sometimes says 'buggy whip.' What is a buggy whip? A horsewhip once used by a driver of a buggy. Since buggies have been replaced by cars the buggy whip has become a symbol for anything that is hopelessly outmoded.

Your turn.

What to take out of this season?

For a Bears fans it's the neglect the Bears showed towards Devin Aromashodu and should be the nail in the coffin for this current Bears brass. If they couldn't figure out that DA and Cutler could be successful then what else have they missed on? Everyone noticed it in the preseason why didn't the Bears. Clean house!

Trading for TMAC could help Bulls future.

Ok we have seen everything we need to know about the Chicago Bulls, we have two players. Everything else is dust in the wind. This has been talked about at nausea I know but trading for TMAC is perfect for the Chicago Bulls.

He's a rental player now and then becomes a free agent after this season. The Knicks have been rumored to be trying to get him from Houston. Why? Because that would give them more cap space to sign two max players.

This is freaking gold!

I'm sorry if this sounds redundant but how much more do you need to know about Salmons, Deng and Hinrich? They are just too inconsistent and the way Salmons is playing who knows if he opts out.

So why not try and package some of these bad contracts for TMAC?

It's fire sale time! The Bulls future is now! This would be huge! Players want money and a core of Noah and Rose is a great base. Maybe this even gives the Bulls a chance to bring back Tyrus Thomas

The Rockets appear keen to rid themselves of McGrady (and his constant drama), which could open the door for a deal. New York would likely package a few expiring contracts, which could include guys like Eddy Curry, Chris Duhon, Al Harrington or Larry Hughes.

If Stoudemire is not on the trading block come February, that would take away a top big man. But, while he's not in Stoudemire's category, sources say there is a two-time All-Star center who could end up being available in Chicago's Brad Miller.

Celtics associate head coach Tom Thibodeau, once considered a leading candidate for the job Del Negro got, sat on press row.

Johnson, sources say, is intrigued about teaming up with Bulls point guard Derrick Rose(notes). Johnson’s agent, Arn Tellem, also is close to Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and the Bulls would love an elite perimeter shooting threat to make up for the loss of Ben Gordon(notes).

And for the record, had the Bulls been willing to pay D’Antoni more money, this could all be happening differently. D’Antoni coaching Derrick Rose, New York’s version of Vinny Del Negro (Mark Jackson) would have coached the Knicks to 18 wins last season and the Knicks would have wound up with Blake Griffin, and both sides would be happy.

I wonder if that might change?
