Kings get: Mike Conley, Darko Milicic

Grizzlies get: Brad Miller

I'm not a Darko fan, I just added him to make the salaries work. His contract ends in 2010, so it wouldn't hurt our supposed big free agency summer.

As a Kings fan, I would love this trade. I still think Conley has a chance to become a very good NBA point guard, while Brad Miller has worn out his welcome in Sacramento with his whining after every call, lack of defense, and off-court drug problems. Which brings me to my question: is this a good trade for Memphis? I know they like Marc Gasol a lot, but Brad brings an entirely different set of skills to that team that I think they are lacking. He is still a very good passer and shooter and he could really help open up the floor for Mayo and Gay.

Thoughts?

Kings acquire: Gerald Wallace

The Kings get a young, explosive athlete that plays solid defense and can now hit the open shot. He has been injured a fair amount of games each season but it's my understanding that is because he was forced to play out of position at the power forward spot for the majority of minutes, which wouldn't be a problem in Sac.

Bobcats acquire: John Salmons, Shelden Williams, Quincy Douby

The Bobcats get a quality starting SF in John Salmons, a young defensive oriented PF in Shelden Williams, and a nice prospect in Quincy Douby. They desperately need help at the 4 and I think Shelden is capable of playing 30-35 minutes a night in the right system.

Thoughts?
