Arrowhead Pride Chiefs sign another old linebacker

According to profootballtalk.com the chiefs have signed veteran linebacker Zach Thomas. 

Not personally sure how I feel about this one, but a little veteran leadership can't hurt if the price was right.  According to the article his contract will probably be for one year for the veteran minimum.  I wonder what this means for the upcoming draft?
