Is anyone heading to SB for the game tomorrow? Got any suggestions / tips for tailgating locations? If anyone has a killer tailgate with lots of food and beer, I'd gladly accept an invitation to pull up next to you.
I'll be driving in from Chicago with several friends in tow, and none of us has ever been to a game at ND.

I'm setting up a post for Fake Pelini to have his own personal sandbox to troll away and attempt to lick his own private parts away from the rest of our enlightened commentariat.
This thread is solely for Fake Pelini and other Nebraska fans to wax nostalgic about the inevitable return to glory of the greatest sports program in history and how it is fated by the grace of God Almighty to rule all the land in the near and distant future of college football.

We all know the Spartans deserve the Rose Bowl bid over the Badgers and Buckeyes based on what happened on the field this season, but unfortunately, on-field results aren't the final determinate in who gets the bid. Since our computer overlords don't seem to like us much, the poll voters are stupid and/or obstinate, and we didn't run up the score on a helpless Indiana team, the Rose Bowl dream is likely out of reach. But, we can still shoot for a bid to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. After the jump are some ways to help

So, in case you hadn't heard, there's a game in Ann Arbor (yes, she is a whore) Saturday between the Spartans and Wolverines. It pits 2 traditional rivals, both holding perfect 5-0 records, and both ranked in the top 20. This is the first time since 1999 that this game has occurred with both teams undefeated and ranked, so it's kind of a big deal.
You would think this would be an easy choice of a location for ESPN to host their traveling circus, College Gameday. Big 10 campus, gorgeous fall weather, and a rivalry game where the stakes haven't been higher in at least a decade.

Rather Hall fight vs. Tennessee Bar Brawl

Just wondering what do you all think about the bar brawl in Knoxville involving a bunch of Tennessee football players and how it compares to the Rather Hall fight last year?
The TN fight left a cop knocked out in the street, and another guy got gang-stomped inside the bar. All charges have been dropped and all the football players are back with the team....basically nothing has happened to the players involved.
Meanwhile, we had a dozen guys miss the bowl game, several leave the program for good, and several more with assault convictions, for a fight where the most serious injury was a bruised jaw.
There were a lot of Spartans saying that Dantonio wasn't tough enough, that anyone involved should have been off the team, etc. What are the thoughts now that we have another program with a similar situation basically sweeping it under the rug?

My imaginary sources tell me his "guest" was actually John Paxson, who got stuck with the tab for dinner. Is 'Toine our new target to backup Luol Deng? You know he'd play for league minimum if the Bulls promised to keep him out of jail.
