Has Dan Bailey Done Enough To Oust David Buehler?

Coming into the season, kicker was just another big question-mark staring this team in the face. Even though there was a full-blown camp battle, no one knew who would win the job. I was ready to...

Here's to Romo: The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems

NFL.com article defends Romo, like really defends him

I've never seen that kind of realistic view of Romo before on their site. Incredible. Also, let me say again Orakpo is a moron

Eagerly Anticipating Bruce Lee

The Cowboys have taken quite a lot of criticism for drafting injured ILBs in the 2nd round the past two years, mostly by fans. Now after only 3 weeks into the season, Sean Lee is an absolute stud...

Statistically on Track

Anyone remember my 'optimistic' stat projections for the season? No? Well I'm not surprised. Regardless, I know its early but I'd like to show the statistical pace our boys are playing at after...

The Opening Game is Not Win or Bust

The excitement over the first game of the year is almost as palpable as the nervousness going against the Jets. Believe me, I understand, every one of us is beyond ready to see our Boys hit the...

Cowboys Nation talks to doc about Smith and Jenkin's Knees

""if the MRIs were negative, this means there is no bone damage, no ligament, tendon or cartilage damage. The major structures are intact. A hyperextension in this case does not mean they're out 2-4 weeks. On the contrary, they could be playing this weekend. It will depend on swelling, which can be affected by ice, tight wraps, ultrasound and anti-inflammatories. How much discomfort do they have? How are they able to tolerate it? I imagine they're getting heavy treatment right now. They could both get up in the morning and feel good.""

Receiving Options Evolving

There has been a lot of buzz about the battle for the third receiver position and quite a bit of scattered thoughts about just what receiving option the third receiver actually is. Some have been...

NFL.com didn't think Dwayne Harris made a big play

5

NFL.com posted their top 10 plays of the 1st preseason game and Dwayne Harris's 76 yard TD didn't make the cut. Alright, maybe it wasn't one of the 10 best plays... but wait! You know who did make the cut? Tim Tebow! At #8 is his 43 yard pass. Wow, really? A 43 yard pass is somehow more impressive than a 76 freakin' yard touchdown? Was it any less impressive because it was a 5 yard pass? I guess anything Tim Tebow does is more of a story than some rookie receiver on the Cowboys.

Alrighty, here is my packet of kool aid to contribute to the 2011 punch bowl. I think it would be fun to project what some of the Cowboys stars stats will be this year. While it may be just a bit...

A Closer Look at Tashard Choice

Much speculation has been made on Tashard Choice recently. Some love what he's done and would like to see him get more snaps. Some go so far as to pencil him in as a cut or trade. I decided to...

Running by Committee

Kudos to KD for sparking controversial debate with Piney over Felix Jones' production. This got me thinking about how we take a running back by committee approach to our ground attack. Is that a...

Meager, important improvements over 2010

As pointed out by OCC, 7 of the Cowboys losses were very close. Better play here and there can lead to a better season. Of course, Iron Fist has mulled over this point as well. A closer look at why...
