Yankees Should Sign Rafael Betancourt
AL experience adds to an already good bullpen no reason not to look into him.

Avalanche 17th in Hockey's Future Organization Rankings
"Strengths: Colorado improved a lot via the 2009 draft, landing two young prospects who started the season in the NHL in Matt Duchene and Ryan O'Reilly. Ryan Stoa, Chris Stewart, and T.J. Galiardi highlight a group of skilled forwards with size. Defensive depth continues to stockpile as the Avalanche have added Tyson Barrie and Stefan Elliott to a group including Kevin Shattenkirk and Colby Cohen. Weaknesses: There is not much forward depth beyond the top group. Colorado could really use some help in the immediate future, but many players at the top of the depth charts have yet to even turn pro. Trevor Cann is getting a shot at the professional ranks, but the Avalanche have yet to see a payoff after trying to shore up goaltending depth with several early-round draft picks. Top five prospects: 1. Matt Duchene, C, 2. Kevin Shattenkirk, D, 3. Chris Stewart, RW, 4. Ryan Stoa, C, 5. Ryan O'Reilly, C. "
Ok I know we may not have the best prospects in the NHL, but people have to give credit where credit is due and 17th seems awfully low. I mean O'Reilly leads the NHL in +/-, and even the LEM are starting to play well better. Take at Stefan Elliot's performance so far in the WHL he looks like an absolute stud. I am not saying we are the best, but we have to be better than 17th.
Sources: "Patriots trading two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Thomas?"
"New England Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas didn't get the fun of being part of the tromping the Pats gave the Tennessee Titans on Sunday because he was mysteriously on the inactive list. That was the first time he's been a healthy scratch since he was a rookie with the Baltimore Ravens back in 2000. "
"The two-time Pro Bowler wasn't even at the stadium on Sunday and he wasn't hurt. It appears the Patriots are trying to trade the fella, according to the Boston Globe."
NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders told viewers of NFL Game Day on Sunday that Thomas was upset and was going to work it out with his coach.
"But head coach Bill Belichick basically said Thomas didn't play because his performance was lacking, which has got to hurt when you're the same guy who signed a $35 million deal two years ago."

Avs vs. Nordiques?
With so many teams in towns where hockey isn't even appreciated it'd be nice to see Quebec get a hockey team again.
Same Old Avalanche
Watching the 3-2 loss tonight to the Predators was brutal. Even when the Avs were winning I saw things that made me think og last season and I just saw them ready to implode. Inability to clear the puck, laziness, and inconsistent offensive pressure led to a killer loss tonight. Unless Sacco can regenerate the troops we may see a few consecutive losses like this on the road trip. You try not to get to excited with the good start, because you know it wont last but nothing is worst then watching exactly what made you sick last season repeat once again. Come on boys learn from the mistakes!!!

Eric Wedge Fired
They are keeping Wedge and the staff, who will also be let go, until the season is over. I do not see the need in doing this before the season is concluded. Could they make life any worse for him?
