"Personally, I don't "tend to view almost everything through our unique and rather narrow/specific LDS worldview or filter..." No, I COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY view the world through the prism of my LDS faith. Simple as that. I do so because it's what SHAPES my views, my opinions, my buying habits, what I watch, what I read, what I wear, my relationship with colleagues, neighbors, friends and of course my family; in total, my whole life is shaped by my views as a Latter-day Saint. More so than my culture, heritage, education, up-bringing, socio-economics, standing in my community, life experience - though clearly, all those are factors, but by far the greatest influence in how I personally view the world, is my LDS faith." ... "Most of my NFL teammates were not LDS and the majority of them wouldn't have come to BYU for obvious reasons. But you might be surprised at some of the NFL greats who I think would've thrived at BYU. Not that they would have come in the first place, but if they did, a few I personally know would have thrived. May not shock you, but try these on for size... Reggie White. Brian Dawkins. Brian Westbrook. All-Americans. All Pros. All African American. All non-LDS. All self-disciplined. All devout in their faith. You know why I think they would've loved BYU?"
