Over the past few days, we have seen the Card's pen blow enough leads to allow the Brew Crew to start to climb up in the standings. There are a number of different reasons why that happened, too many to list here. However, the one large problem that I have seen is the lack of consistent production from the left side. Flores and Villone have not held thier own weight on the team and Flores is now on the DL which means that option #3 could very easily be on its way. Garcia and Mulder have both been mentioned in other post but Mo doesn't seem to excited on bringing either up to fill the South Paw shaped hole.

After the Card's win the other day in DET a flipped to the Cubs and O's game for the last few innings to see the O's hold on to win. The O's closer #52 George Sherrill really looked impressive. Now he is a closer so I know he will not come cheap, and do not even know if he will be available. I stay away from AL ball allot, mostly cause the DH irritates me, so I don't know much about this guy nor the O's(other than they are like 7 games back).

I guess my whole point of this post is to get us talking about potential LHRP's that we could see trade for during the Card's playoff hunt. I would like to know some names and what their current teams might be looking for, so if we hear a name we can take notice.
