[ED: Here it is, folks, the NIT bracket. What could make this interesting is the possibility of meeting Mississippi State in Madison Square Garden. That would be kinda fun, actually, despite our Rebels missing the NCAAs yet again.]

Ahh, so close to looking at a different bracket this year...

I hope that the seeding holds for the couple rounds - we'd get to play Stanford and beat them. Our softball team hung in there with them on their home field a few days ago.

As a Rebel fan who travels a lot, gets no watercooler talk, and gets all his UMAA news from this site or what a Google search can turn up, could someone help me out with a couple of questions:

Could anyone provide a list of who have done the Are You Ready's this year? Unfortunately I only saw one - Tony Dungy at game #1. Just curious.

And did someone say that MSU is now doing something similar?

Just thought I'd throw this link in -- the best Are You Ready in history - couldn't hear a thing Snoop said, the place went so crazy. Any other opinions on best ever?

Red Cup Rebellion I Am Depressed Now (And So Can You!)

"Resources Win Championships" - Danny White, UMAA Foundation Executive Director

Maybe most people don't read the letter from the UMAA Foundation Executive Director when they get the little "here's how much you're gonna have to pay this year to keep your season ticket location - or else" booklet, but I did this time because it had a few numbers posted with it and I am nothing if not a numbers guy.

I'd like to hear some opinions from the assorted smart and not-smart people on the board about what these numbers show:
