Bucs Nation Please don't waste a top 5 Tampa Bay...

Oh Lord please let us draft Trent Richardson…i’ll be pissed if we draft a CB or OL. We can address CB in free agency (Cortland Finnegan, Brandon Carr, Aaron Ross, Richard Marshall, etc.) or later in the draft, they aren’t any Joe Hadens in this draft. We probably going to reach and get screwed…last year #5 pick Patrick Peterson was a game-changer but on "special teams" not at CB, eventually he’ll get better though…not bashin Claiborne but u remember all that hype around Revis in 2007, he was #14 pick and I doubt Mo is any Revis…jus sayin’

If you talk football 24/7 follow me on twitter @StarEnights and i’ll followback Fire Those Cannons Tampa Bay!

The more and more I think about it...I get confused. Great example, lets take Ian Johnson...WAC record for 58 rushing touchdowns, ran the second fastest 40 yard dash time for a running back at the 2009 NFL Combine, etc. He is 5'11", 212lbs. Ok, he was not drafted but signed an undrafted contract with the Viking. Now lets take LaRod Stephens-Howling. If nobody knows who he is that is because he lost his starting RB job to LeSean McCoy in 2007. No All-American awards, did not see the endzones more than 14 times in any season, did not have a crazy combine but he was drafted in the 7th round in the 2009 draft by the Cardinals. By the way he is 5'7" and 180lbs. Really? Why draft a player who you are probably goin to drop in a few weeks? What are they looking at, his high school career? Not bashing any particular team but I do not get it, please someone explain the reasoning because this is nonsense.

Bucs Nation Does the NFL Draft make sense?
