Minor League Ball Westmoreland or Chapman?

Our minor league draft has started and Martin Perez and Starlin Castro were the top 2 picks and I have pick #3. I'm now facing the question of Aroldis Chapman vs. Ryan Westmoreland and I really can't decide who to take. Westmoreland seems like he has the highest upside of any available offensive player, but he's a couple of years off. Chapman seems to have all the talent in the world, but there are so many questions about where his skills currently lie. I'm especially terrified that he'll become a reliever. Who should I take? (other guys available are Michael Taylor (not a fan of his), Christian Friedrich (scared off by Colorado effect), Kyle Drabek and Lonnie Chisenhall)

Minor League Ball Minor League Fantasy Draft Advice?

Our league is conducting our annual minor league draft next Monday. A lot of the top prospects are already owned from years past, but there are still some quality players available. I am strongly considering a trade that would move me up to the 3rd overall pick (trading picks 13 & 15 - it's a 14 team league) for a chance to take Ryan Westmoreland, who I am quite fond of. Our league is 7x7 scoring (HR, RBI, Runs, SB-CS, OBP, OPS, UZR, QS, ERA, WHIP, Ks, HRA, WPA, RE24). The other top tier players available are: Martin Perez, Starlin Castro, Aroldis Chapman, Casey Kelly, Michael Taylor, Kyle Drabek and Lonnie Chisenhall. Should I consider any of those guys over Westmoreland? Does anyone want to try to convince me that any of these other guys are better or that I should stick with picks 13 & 15?

Minor League Ball Fantasy Minor League Draft Advice?

So we've got our minor league draft for our fantasy league coming up in a couple of weeks. Our league rules allow you to keep minor league players for as many years as possible until they get to the major leagues, so very young guys aren't given an extreme disadvantage. Many of the top prospects are already owned after many drafts in the past, but there is some very solid talent available. I've got picks 13 and 15, so I'll list the top 20 or so available prospects and I'm seeking advice as to who I should be aiming to select:

Martin Perez

Michael Taylor

Christian Friedrich

Ryan Westmoreland

Aroldis Chapman

Kyle Drabek

Lonnie Chisenhall

Jennry Mejia

Matt Moore

Casey Kelly

Casey Crosby

Starlin Castro

Brett Lawrie

Derek Norris

Tyler Matzek

Jacob Turner

Mike Montgomery

Dee Gordon

Jaff Decker

Josh Bell

Mike Trout
