Another Rough week for the Raider Nation prompts me to question of our running game. Mcfadden has been regarded as an elite back *(durability concerns) for his speed, power, and explosiveness. The hard running that has consistently given him extra yards on contact has gone missing this year. Much can be blamed on the offensive line, offensive coordinator, and zone blocking, but when it comes time for McFadden to make plays that we so desperately need, he runs soft. The McFadden of old would never go out of bounds to avoid contact when there are a few hard yards to gain. He has consistently gone down without a fight leaving a potential 2nd-9, a 2nd-12 instead. Is he merely avoiding re-injury? Or has he just been spending too much time with Rolando McClain and figures giving it his most is good enough?

I want to have faith that all is well, but I watch too many games to not at least question "our best player".
