Thank-you Michael Bean and staff of BTSC
Tough heartbreaking loss, but everyone who followed the Steelers on the BSTC this season won insight into the game because of the knowledge, dedication and professional abilities of the finest Steeler blog in the world. Thanks all. You made it more fun and more inviting than we had a right to expect. 2012 Super Bowl, here we go.
You'll Remember This Day For the Rest of Your Days
Hey Stiller Nation! You amped? Just a bit?
We should be. Today we will watch the world witness why we follow our 6 time champion Pittsburgh Steelers with such passion.
No Respect Given is a Good Thing
When the season started few of the experts predicted our Steelers to make the playoffs.
With just a few days before THE game, the trend continues with far too many pundits predicting a Green Bay win. As noted, the youngest coach to ever make it to 2 Super Bowls did not even receive a single vote for COY.
For our Steelers, this is a good thing.

Shut Your Dirty Pie Hole
Today ESPN front paged a David Fleming article with the lede "Dirty Little Secret" Hey ESPN and David Fleming Shut Your Dirty Pie Hole!
Jets fans stomp terrible towel - they never learn.
Where the Intangible Becomes Tangible
Make no mistake. The New York Jets are an incredibly talented football team which is well coached. The outcome of Sunday's game is not a guaranteed trip to Dallas for our Steelers. But when two well matched teams battle for all the marbles the intangibles, those things you can't actually put your finger on and touch, make a huge difference in a game of inches. Like many other marks in football, our 2010/11 Steelers take the intangibles to a whole new level.
I don't propose to cover them exhaustively, but what is intangible for most football clubs and for most football teams is very tangible for our Steelers.

The Best Football of the Season Happens Today
Why It's All About the Hardware
With the precedent setting 6th Super Bowl win, it is time to break down what sets this STEELER organiztion and STEELER COUNTRY apart from the rest.
First, let's get out of the way whether or not the STEELERS are the best team ever in the NFL. Six Super Bowl victories says it all.
How? Why?
My moniker is 'whatever it takes'. And if you ask anybody, this phrase is a non sequitor.
Saying it, thinking it is easy. Doing it, well that's another matter. Just ask the 2004 STEELERS.
The difference between the STEELERS and the rest of the league, is a commitment to achieving. Achievement in Head Coach selection (3 SB winners in 3 HC selections), achievement in personel selection (4 HOFamers in a single draft!!!), achievement in fan participation (did u see the number of fans who showed up in Tampa???), achievement in sportscasters (Myron COPE!!!!!!!).
For 40 years, everyone associated with the ROONEY organization has understood it is ALL about the hardware - Lombardi Trophies.
For 40 years, the ROONEY organization has put teams on the field that compete, and deliver the hardware. NOLL, COWER, TOMLIN.
STEELER fans expect it, but they go one step further... week in, and week out, .... STEELER fans show up - - AWAY -- and at home. STEELER fans participate with not only their heart, but their DOLLARS. And STEELER fans are in the game with THEIR team for 60 minutes.
Think it doesn't matter? Really?? Ask THIS team about fan PARTICIPATION.
We're YINZERS. We come to play, and WIN. Willie Parker and James Harrison own SB records in SB victories. Neither was drafted by any team. BOTH are PITTSBURGH heroes.
We're YINZERS - Rooney, Noll, Cowher, Tomlin.
We line up for SMASH MOUTH.
We own more Lombardi Trophies than ANYBODY!
We come to play. We play to win. Year after year.
We're YINZERS!!
and the hardware is on display in PITTSBURGH.
