The BTSC Predict the Score Competition, Wk 13 vs Oakland Raiders
Before I begin, the long awaited updated scores and rankings will be posted after this week, just so I can start fresh from next week the way I did earlier in the season
Week 13 the Steelers head home from a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens, where we saw the defensive pass rush return to near full form, and the first career start for Dennis Dixon. Although there were a few good aspects during the game, utimately nothing but a W will satisfy a fan base now starting to wonder if we have enough tank for a true playoff run
The AFC Wildcard race is well and truly heated up, with Baltimore (6-5) now well back in the thick of the race, as well as Denver (7-4), Jacksonville (6-5), Tennessee (5-6), New York (5-6), Houston (5-6), Miami (5-6) and our own 6-5 Pittsburgh Steelers.

The BTSC Predict the Score Competition, Wk 12 @ Baltimore Ravens
Booya!
Ive been waiting for this one all year. It may have lost a little lustre in the national spotlight due to the Cincinatti Bengals surprising leading of the AFC North, yet both teams are still in the playoff hunt.
After a surprising loss at Kansas City, the Steelers were semi let off the hook by means of both the aRavens and Bengals losing in the same weekend, so Cincy is still 2 games ahead, and Baltimore 1 behind.
To take positives for the Ravens, they were in the game until the end, and they held off the great Peyton Manning led offense for the most part, as well as creating a number of turnovers.
The Steelers on the other hand, dominated statistically, yet special teams mishaps, a number of costly penalties, and a poor lack of defensive/offensive in crunch time cost them the game.
When the game is there for the taking, particularly in the final quarter, the first three quarters almost becomes irrelevant, as the Ravens found out in the second meeting last season. After stifling the Steelers for the majority of the game, the Steelers were able to drive 90 yards to victory, albeit on a controversial touchdown ruling
Dont think for a moment that the Baltimore Ravens have forgotten the three, count 'em, 1,2,3 epic battles they lost last season. They have had the Steelers games circles on their roster since the schedule came out. I can't speak for their fanbase, but Im sure winning both these games would make their season, even if they dont win another game the rest of the way.
Oh, yeah, make your picks for the week.

The BTSC Predict the Score Competition, Wk 11 @ KC Chiefs
Still in the process of calculating scores, bear with me
Steelers lost to the Cincinnatti Bengals for the second time this season, the last time this happened was 1998.
Yet I urge the masses of Steeler fans (real ones, not you fair weather fans, go support the Colts) to not panic. We still have a slate of winnable games coming up, first of which starts this week at Kansas City

The BTSC Predict the Score Competition, Wk 10 vs Cincinatti Bengals
Still racing around like a headless chicken, organising jobs and what not.
The Steelers played a brilliant game on Monday. Shut out offensively in the first half and shut down by almost all means, the Steelers hit back in the 2nd half with a dominating effort, thumping the Broncos 28 - 10 and finally providing to us what he had been hoping for, which was an absolute burying of an opponent.
Rashard Mendenhall and Big Ben torched the Top ranked Orange Crush Defense, and the Steelers are well and truly hitting their stride.
This week, Cincinatti 2.0. This could be the division right here. Being swept by Cincinatti would mean we would have to finish with a better record than the Bengals to take the division.
I have never been more fired up for a game since the opener.
Bring it Cincinatti! Lets finish this!

The BTSC Predict the Score Competition: Week 5 @ Detroit, plus Week 4 Results
The Steelers in Week 4 hosted the Chargers on Sunday Night Football, and for the most part did not disappoint. Despite another defensive lapse in the 4th quarter, this one was not really as close as the score suggested. A couple massive mistakes on Special Teams helped allow the Chargers to sneak closer, but when push came to shove, our Offense was just far too formiddable for the Chargers to handle.
Many BTSC'ers did not make their picks, which I blame on myself for not getting this done fast enough, so i have tried to be earlier this week. May incorporate a "Drop your worst score" at the conclusion, to make it fair, as the majority of predictors were way off this week.
Congrats to indianasteelers and DarinS for scoring the best result of the week with a mere 8 points!
Wooden Spoon Award for the week goes to Steel in FL who missed wide right with his defensive battle prediction of 17-10
Anyways, below is the weekly standings:
