The NFL Channel will unveil it's picks for the top 10 NFL Defenses on Friday at 8pm. I already let Brian McCarthy, NFL Spokesperson that I would ban NFL Channel if Steelers were not included...to which he responded:

"NFLprguy@steelergurl u r bluffing but I don't think u have anything to worry about"

Anyway, would love everyone's feedback so I can write a post here.

And yes, I am lazy...work with me boys :) Comments on blog will be included - but MUST be sent to me prior to 8pm Friday :)

What kind of Quarterback do you want on your team?

This was a topic from NFL Total Access that I picked up on...first, who do you think is "gritty" of past and present QB's - I polled the twitterverse and you can read here about who lead in votes.

But beyond that, which is better - pretty or gritty? and Why?

I want to write a follow you story...but would love to hear your comments and opinions before I do so.

Thanks!

Grace in losing

I don't like to lose any more than the next person. But I think that one of the things that makes playing sports so important when you are a kid is learning good sportsmanship. I've seen a lot of examples of "bad sportsmanship" lately - and even defense of said "bad sportsmanship" on twitter which makes me sad.

People who can't lose as well as they win - and believe me, I have experience since I have been a Steelers fan all my life at both - will also have problems in many other areas of their life.

Want to know who I think exhibits great sportsmanship and good character? Read here.

Who do you think are good examples on and off the field?

Who do you think are bad example on and off the field?

If you have kids, do you teach them through example?

Do you think having good character and being a good sport have anything to do with some of the problems we've seen in football over the last few years eg Vick/Plax?

Real talk @ BTSC today :)

Will it be the Limas Sweed show at #3

<!-- TOKEN_1243184462580_TOKEN -->I know everyone has already talked about this, but I am bored and it's the off-season so deal with it....

So, based on what we know right now today - subject to change once we get into camp - what's your prediction on that #3 wide receiver job?

Sweed, Wallace or McDonald?

I made my prediction....and you can read about that here...but I would like to know what everyone else thinks. What would you like to see?

I know I would like to see an offense that isn't always in that 2 minute hustle, oh and isn't waiting until the last freaking second to snap the ball (barely making it before the delay of game is called), and that isn't so predictable...but beyond that, who takes over Nate Washington's role?

Thoughts?

(PS - I don't always blame the O-line...though there's always room for improvement there)

My adventure at the White House with the Steelers

So most of you know - well, maybe not, but you do now - that my office is literally a block from the White House. So, learning that the Stillers would visit was a highlight in my week. (Especially since I just got back from depression Detroit where all Lions gear is on clearance)

I didn't quite have the experience I wanted to have, but I got some pics and truth be told, I am going to give a big huge $1 to anyone who can fix the pictures...that has never happened to me before...no idea why they look like that, but regardless, hope you enjoy my view of the Steelers trip to the White House.

Pictures are now better and I will edit them again and repost later this weekend.

Hope you all enjoy the post.

For the full story, click here.

NFL considers expanding the "Rooney Rule"

It’s well known through out the league that Dan Rooney, who happens to lead the workplace diversity committee for the NFL, pushed for teams to interview at least one minority when hiring for the head coach position. At the owners meetings in Fort Lauderdale, they are now considering that rule to be expanded to cover General Manager positions as well.

Let’s be real, this is a no brainer – in ANY front office role the NFL should be interviewing capable and talented people, of course that includes minorities.

Read more here.
