As the saying goes, you can't blame a loss on one player. That saying has yet to be finished. add on "unless your name is Jeff Reed or Limas Sweed" If the coaching staff doesn't see that he cannot use his hands and replace his third spot with studly Mike Wallace, then I don't know what to say. Limas catches that TD, the game is a blowout. Defense was solid considering Troy is still out. Won by 3, loss by 3, loss by 3. Why do the Steelers play these close games? Why can't they just WIN with points. And lots of them??

Chicago Game Tailgaters?

My father and myself will be traveling to Chi town this weekend from Des Moines to see our beloved Steelers play. I was just curious if anyone else will be attending the game and perhaps tailgating and we could meet up and hang out before the game. Should be a good game too. I'm seeing the experts predict half and half on who is going to win but the Steelers play a lot better when they are underdogs. PS I hate Skip Bayless

My two friends (One Viking fan and One Dolphin fan) have been bugging me about a few things and I was just going to see what Steeler nation had to say. The first issue is with Super Bowls. Do you say the Steelers won 6? I do but my friends say I am only allowed to hold up two fingers since that is all that they have one since I have been alive (1989). So I was just curious on your takes on this situation. Number two deals with Sir Hines Ward. He is a stud receiver and I love him. But my friends are convinced he is the face of mediocrity. He doesn't put up flashy numbers and his dumbass smile after every play. I throw stats in their face that he leads the Steelers in virtually every WR category and has 2 SB and a MVP. I'm convinced he is first ballot material, but they say he isn't worth the HoF at all. HELP! I need to show these clowns what a championship feels like!

With the 2009 NFL Draft this weekend, the cover athelete of Madden 10 is to be released Friday. The final three candidates were released today and two of the nine are apart of your world champion Pittsburgh Steelers. I was just curious as to if anyone believes in this curse and if you think it will affect our season if one of the Steelers are picked. I for one believe in this curse and the stats of previous cover atheletes show what has happened

Shirts and thoughts

Are there any cool hole in the wall tee shirt sites where I can find some cool shirts? Just ones with cool sayings like "I can count to six, can you?" Such as http://www.believe.bigcartel.com/ and other ones. If ya'all can suggest any that would be great!

A few thoughts on the game. About 3 months ago, I told all my friends I would shave my head if they won the SB. Sure enough I am typing this with not alot of hair. All of my friends insist on (just like last time) bugging me about the refs and how they screwed the opponents. Since this has happened before in my lifetime (turned 20 1/22) I was used to it and ignored them.

Bruce Arians did indeed call a hell of a first half. Heath was well involved and my whole house yelled HEATH everytime he got the ball. Being from Iowa, I have only been to 7 Steelers games (2 in PItt, KC, MN, GB, STL, and TN) we are in serious talks in going to the opening thursday game. Any idea who they will play?
