Comcast Sports Net NW Picture Quality
Ok so I'm watching the game last night and it was like looking through 2'' thick glasses. I know that it's not my tv since the picture quality drasticly improved during commercials and half time report ect. So my question is why? Is it just the feed? Is it camera related? Am I the only one experiencing this issue? I mean, if all of us are gonna get twisted into paying for a provider just to have this channel is it to much to ask to be able to watch a game without having side effects like crossed eyes or vommiting? Last night was worse than normal but i've noticed this issue since sports net nw first went on air and I'm sure the raitings on 37 are through the roof durring blazer games, so come on comcast is there anything you can do to stop my head from spinning?

Blazers Fact Of The Day
Did you know that the Blazers hold the all time consecutive sell out reccord? I didn't, so I thought I'd share my find with all of you so that if anyone else didn't know they will now. This is a piece of an article I was reading about the Red Sox sell out reccord which mentions the Blazers.
The Red Sox are fourth when it comes to the all-time longest sell-out streaks in professional sports. NBA teams hold the top three positions, with the 1977-95 Portland Trailblazers selling out an impressive 744 consecutive games, followed by the 1980-95 Boston Celtics (567) and 1987-2000 Chicago Bulls (515).

Anyway I thought this was cool and wanted to create a post that other people could share there interesting Blazers Fact of the day.
NBA live 09 Portland Trailblazers rating predictions
I've been waiting for the new player ratings to come out and it seems to be taking a long time for them to be revealed, so while I wait I decided to do some predictions on the ratings myself. Now I'm a little lazy so I'm just going to list starting five but feel free to include the whole team in your predictions if you wish.
Greg Oden 75
Did not play last season so I expect his rating to stay the same.
Lamarcus Aldridge 80
He was way under rated last year to the point the computer put Channing Frye in his starting spot so I hope that the people at EA get it right this year.
Martel Webster 72
He did improve a bit last season and I think he will get passed the 60's.
Brandon Roy 91
Big jump for Roy this year. I think with him being an all star he will finally get the video game respect he deserves.
Steve Blake 70
Same stuff with Blake this year unless they decide to put Bayless in the starting spot because of his summer league performance.
Overall I expect to see our team somewhere in the 80's, probably 83, so pretty nice improvement from last year. Alright Video game fans now it's your turn so let hear what you got for this years virtual blazer team.
Squatch up for grabs?
I just read over at true hoop that the mascot squatch is not moving to OKC with the team and may be up for grabbs. This is a great oportunity for the Blazers to get rid of the God awful plague of a mascot known as balze the trail cat and upgrade to what I think is one of the premier mascots in the league. I just hope that the Blazers don't pass on this oportunity as I'm sure I'm not the only person sick of our current mascot.

Who will you root for in the playoffs?
Just out of curiosity I wanted to run a poll to see what other teams people will root for now that the blazers season is over. Personaly I don't like rooting for teams other than the Blazers and probibly won't watch much of the playoffs but if I had to choose I probably would root for Boston Since they have a great story right now and I'd like to see KG & Ray Ray get rings.
