Arrowhead Pride Not Popular

Losing stinks.  It's worse than that; it makes you wanna lash out at players, coaches, and staff.  Sometimes those criticisms are valid.  Often it provides an interesting perspective in the competitive spirit of our culture.  I must admit that on more than one occasion this season I have cursed Peterson, Edwards, Croyle, Cunningham, and even Clark Hunt.  This is a strange position for me as I always considered myself to be an optimistic, drink the kool-aid kind of Chiefs fan.  And today I feel better, because Herm Edwards is our coach.

I just finished watching his 9/23 news conference, and you know what, I think he's right.  When it is all said and done, whether or not he's here, he was right.  Two years from now, I hope we will all respect him for what he's doing now.  It takes alot of guts and character to attempt something I don't really think any other NFL franchise has ever done.  And we will be better for it.

I think I've begun to understand why these players want to be apart of this organization with Herm Edwards; and I'm proud he's our coach.  Watch the news conference (don't read it).  We may lose alot more games, but now I think I can see the light (as unpopular as it is to say right now).

Arrowhead Pride Trade for Brady Quinn!

http://chiefsblog.kansascity.com/?q=node/250

After reading this article, I have to say, I find myself loving this idea.  Brady Quinn, if nothing else, would give the team and fans something to look forward to watching.  At the very least, we would have the pick we probably would have taken in 2007 if the Browns hadn't traded up.  If we traded a 2nd or even 3rd round pick, it would be a heck of alot cheaper too.
