Just wondering whether anyone had any update on Michael Sauer's status?

Have not heard anything about him recently.

Is he supposed to be ready at any point in the near future? Beginning of next season?

Since I need to get my word count up...

Heck of a game last night!

Were a little shaky in the 2nd period but really dominated the 3rd period.

Henrik was a wall, if the Hart goes to the MOST VALUABLE player NOT the BEST he is the winner hands down.

As currently constituted the Rangers are looking like they are headed for the basement of the eastern conference.

With players like Gaborik and Lundqvist entering their primes the Rangers need to take advantage by surrounding their stars with better players.

This is simply a hypothetical plan. The Rangers currently have 8.6 mill in cap space.

1. RE-SIGN Marc Staal-4.5 mil-he must be the top priority 

2. Re sign Dan Girardi and prust 4 mil between them

3. Wave Donald Brashear and Wade Redden both contacts must come off the books

That leaves 8 million in cap space

4. Sign Willie Mitchell and Pavol Demitra to 1 year deals maximum 3 mil between them leaving 5 mil

This is more wishful thinking but some how-trade rozival and use money to sign Bobby Ryan 5.5 mil-hes a guy who has averaged 37 goals per 82 games in his last two seasons and is only 23. 

This would leave 7.5 to sign a replacement for rozival such as sutton and save the rest.
