Hello BTSC, long time reader-first time poster.   I was catching the wire about Greg Ellis getting released from the hated Cowboys after much feuding in the Dallas press.  Some bloggers are saying NE or Philly would take him for help in their defense.  He thrived in the switch to a 3-4 type DE, and willbe getting 1.5 million from Jerry Jones fror the year already.  He has been in the league long enough that a championship team may be able to talk him into a lesser role to help win a ring. 

Is this idea way off base?
