I'll start this off by saying I'm not a guy who thinks Masoli should be pulled.  I agree with Chip Kelly that he is our best QB option, by far.   If two or three or four of our dropped passes had been catches this season, then I don't think anyone would be calling for Nate Costa.   Anyway, I had this weird dream last night....

I was in the stands for the game against Cal and we had the ball first.  Out trotted Nate Costa instead of Masoli for the first series.  He had this huge knee brace on and was visibly limping to the huddle, but still the crowd went crazy with excitement.  He took the first snap, limped back, and fired a strike to Ed Dickson for a first down.  Next play it was the same thing - visible limping and a beautiful pass downfield for a big gain.  After three or four nice passes, we had first and goal and Costa attempted a play action pass.  He faked the hand off, limped back (again), and got hammered from behind by a call linebacker.  His leg bent completely sideways and he had to get carted off the field.  Masoli came in, fumbled the snap, and then I woke up.

I don't know what it meant, but for some reason I felt like I should make a fanpost about it...
