In the long run, Albert defecting will be positive for the Cardinals

The 2011 World Series was so dramatic that it was right out of a Hollywood movie. Well if they ever DID make a 2011 World Series movie, we have our ideas of who to cast in it

The horror never ends

That ball hit Adrian Beltre's foot! We all saw it! They even had freakin' Infra Red to show it. So why take the bat out of the hand of a big slugger in the 9th inning of a one run game in the World Series???? Instant Replay anyone?

I made this video before the most recent Super Bowl but it is applicable now. If the Cardinals do NOT win the World Series, then there will be 10 different World Series winners in the past 11 years... more than the NFL (8) and the NBA (6). Yet baseball gets all the heat of having the same teams win every year. Odd. GO BREWERS

Congrats to the Rangers... but is it just me? Are there too many champagne celebrations?

If the Tigers win tomorrow... please refrain from a champagne celebration. Save the bubbly for the World Series!!!

Why are umpires allowed to call different strike zones? I'm a Red Sox fan and even I thought CC zone was all over the place!!!

While we Red Sox fans are wounded... let's remember to NOT put the blame on the wrong person as a lot of people did with Bill Buckner

There is always next year... and let's hope baseball has the good sense to start the season in warm weather cities!

You can make the argument that the quality of baseball has never been better than right now

The All "Nope Not That One" Team...

If the Red Sox get in... I had BETTER NOT see a Champagne celebration. I love the Sox, but they forfeited their right to champagne a week ago!

I know I'm supposed to be in love with every new stat... but can we SLOW DOWN the stat creation?

I miss the Astros

If Albert Pujols leaves the Cardinals at the end of this season, I better NEVER hear a boo from a Cardinal fan!

Congrats to the Brewers... but there should be no champagne celebrations until the end of The World Series!

AZ Snake Pit No Champagne Celebration until the World Series

Congrats to the NL West Champion Diamondbacks.

They earned the title big time. But let's PLEASE hold off on the Champagne celebrations until the big one!

Don't cheapen the bubbly.

I talked about this, not just for the D-Backs but for all champions, in this video.

Build up and savor each victory... but the bubbly belongs to the champs. I don't remember each round getting champagne before recently

I could be wrong.

Viva El Birdos Video about Pujols' contract

I made this video back when Pujols did NOT resign during Spring Training and I heard some chatter that Albert was greedy etc etc etc.

I know most Cardinals fans will give him a 20 minute long standing ovation even if he shows up in a Cubs uniform tomorrow. But the fact of the matter is Pujols owes the Cardinals and their fans nothing and if he can sign for $30 mil a year, more power to him.

In the video I get on any Cardinal fan who would give Pujols a hard time.

Pinstripe Alley Video - John Sterling through history

How would John Sterling call home runs by Yankees of the past?

This video tries to figure it out. Taking Sterling's style and seeing how he'd call homers for Jackson, Nettles, Mantle, DiMaggio and a few others down the line. (And yes, I managed to throw in a Broadway showtune)

It's not as exaggerated as you think.

Hope you enjoy it

Halos Heaven Angels best teams... home grown vs. acquired players

<!--StartFragment-->

I’m a TV Producer and a performer as seen on HBO Sports docs about the Red Sox.

I am also a maniacal baseball fan and I keep up a baseball blog.

I have been spending the off season compiling the greatest all time rosters consisting of only home grown players and comparing them to the greatest all time roster consisting of only players acquired from other organization.

I am doing it for all 30 teams and I just finished the one for the Angels.

You can read the Angels post here

Anderson, Glaus and K-Rod among others are on the home grown.

Reggie, Carew and Vlad among others are on the acquired team.

Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.

Hopefully it can spark a debate or two or bring back a memory of a

Angel you forgot about.

If you like it, show it to your other Angel fan friends.

It’s amazing how I’ve been able to see how passionate some of the fan

bases can be.

(Who knew Astros fans were so opinionated?)

Take care,

Paul Sullivan
